Persona 3 Portable without a doubt, especially if you've never played the PS2 version. So much is improved and the games runs and looks fantastic on the PSP.
If you're into Rhythm or puzzle games then the DJ Max series is definitely worth a look and Lumines is a great puzzle game that mixes great music with Tetris style gameplay from Q Entertainment, the makers of Rez.

From it I'd recommend Ys 7, Kingdom Hearts BbS and Valkyria Chronicles 2. Maybe dissidia 2 as it contains dissidia 1 as well.
edited: updated to my current collection excluding some non-rpgs, tits, phantom brave, legend of heroes 1 and Mim-something Ivar which are on the way. _________________

Tales Of Eternia
ZHP Unlosing Ranger Vs Darkdeath Evilman
Lunar Silver Star Harmony
Kingdom Hearts Birth By Sleep
Harvest Moon Hero Of Leaf Valley
Disgea 2
Half-Minute Hero
Valkyria Chronicles 2
Tactics Ogre: Let's All Cling Together
The Legend Of Heroes: Trials In The Sky
This is my entire PSP collection and from what I've played, I recommend them all Though Tactics Ogre and Trials In The Sky haven't arrived yet, I'm sure they'll be awesome games. I think I have too many PSP SRPGS lol. Need more full-on RPPGs for my collection I think. _________________

Impressive lists! I kept swinging back and forth whether to buy one or not. I'm tempted to wait for the PSP2 but only if it will be backwards compatible. Then again, I wonder if I'll have enough time to add another system to my list ! Decisions decisions.

Apparently it's only $189 at Myer right now. I think it's a pretty good buy and you'll have a dedicated handheld for your PSP games rather than using the BC on the NGP.

Nice collection but I'm curious to how many of them have you finished, I'm guessing just under half.
The only RPGs I think you are missing there are:
The second Legend of Heroes game in the first trilogy.
Final Fantasy Tactics.
Disgaea 1.
Class of Heroes.
Breath of Fire 3.
Tales of Eternia.
Gurumin.
Popolocrois.
Holy Invasion of Privacy, Badman! What Did I Do to Deserve This.
I think that's it actually unless you included RPGish games like Key of Heaven and the two Prinny games, also what are those two japanese game in the bottom right hand side of the second picture. _________________ Currently Playing : Atelier Iris 2 (PS2), Xenoblade Chronicles (Wii), Legend of Heroes : Trails of the Sky (PSP), 9 Hours, 9 Persons, 9 Doors (DS) and Final Fantasy XIII (PS3)

I lol'd XD
Trying to track down a non 'best seller' version of tactics. Disgaea 1 I have on DS. Class of Heroes didn't look good... BoF3 has ugly 'PSP Essentials'... Tales of Eternia I probably should track down. Gurumin never heard of =P Thought Popo was out of print I have What Did I do To deserve this 2 which includes the first one but didn't think it was an RPG so left it out of pic with 2 MGS games, monster hunter and some others. Those 2 jap games are Hatsune Miku Project Diva 1 and 2. Not RPG but had anime type cover and I wanted to complete the rectangle in the image <_< I'm also missing blazing souls accelerate but not sure if want :/ A lot of my save files died when I CWF my PSP so I could record some of the cutscenes >_< _________________

@ Oropher X!
How convenient!
I was just planning on beginning to start my PSP RPG collection and needed some inspiration.
I will however omit any NTSC games from my collection though and simply focus on PAL titles.
Currently, I've only acquired all the Square Enix Limited Collector editions of their games. _________________

Well then sir, If you want a 'real' RPG machine then I suggest you get the DS!!
Etrian Odyssey
World Ends With You
Strange Journey
Mystery Dungeon
Chrono Trigger
Devil Survivor
Dragon Quest
4 Heroes of Light
Castlevania
Pokemon
Avalon
Might and Magic
SO MANY
When I had to choose between PSP and DS, I went for DS and it was the right choice _________________

Disgaea DS is a terrible port, largely due to the console's limitations. Sprites look ugly, voice acting is missing, there's only one small screen to view the actual gameplay on...yuck. The PSP (and PS2) versions are so much better. I recommend the PSP version as the best version, as it has a fair bit of new content over the PS2 version. _________________

The Legend Of Heroes 2 - The Prophecy Of The Moonlight Witch
PoPoLoCrois
quite the extensive collection... but I'm also quite the late starter as far as PSP ownership goes

I was playing Yakuza 4 last night, I'd say it's been 12 hours and I'm about 9.58% or something. I did a substory and I got a text saying 'Congrats you've completed all of Akiyama's substories!'
but they are so addicting....What to do...Go on with the main story or seduce another hostess? Decisions, decisions.
Has anyone got the Akiyama Award trophy? If so, any tips to raise money? I am not a big fan of gambling, don't want to blow all my Yen on games I don't understand . _________________

Isn't Disgaea 1 on the DS the most recent version of Disgaea 1 and has newer features over the PSP and PS2 versions? _________________

Only notable thing is Pleinair as a recruitable character, I think? It does suffer a bit from being on DS due to the hardware limitations as Ad said, but, well, the gameplay is all intact, so personally, eh.

I played a game of Pachinko about an hour ago.
WHAT THE **** IS THIS
In Y3, I always used to save before gambling, go to Roulette and slap down the maximum bet on 1/3rd of the board. Pretty much the least effort to gamble with, even if it did take alot of saving and loading. Trade chips in for a Gold Plate, and you have monies.
I'm just progressing through the game as normal; I notice that the amount of punks who give you money after a fight is greatly reduced. They're mostly giving me Tauriners or other crap, but I'm just hoping it's because all the characters are just like 'early game' sort of things where you're not supposed to have great amounts of money, so they're preventing you from getting 30,000 yen after battle rewards. I'm hoping. _________________

Nah, definitely not getting both a PSP and DS. How it stands I'm struggling to decide whether to get the PSP how it is. I'm only tempted to get one beacuse of their price in the states (roughly $100 US). If I could pick up a mint second hand one for less then I'll be all over that.

@cyph: About a year ago I would have said the DS is the one to go for but in the last year the games for the PSP have been phenomenal. Four out of five of the best games I played last year were on the PSP and this year it feels like it will go the same way (and the one non PSP game will have 'Yakuza' in the title again).
The DS has some amazing games and probably more quality RPGs (numerically) but some of the PSP games are just so huge and feel like they have a real weight behind them.
Some of the games really feel like they are picking up where the PS2 RPGs left off.
This isn't to bad mouth the DS or anything, I just felt that the DS RPGs went off in one direction and the PSP RPGs went in another. Each person will have the type they prefer... or love both
