Do not know how popular this game is, but I am looking forward to it. You can use two weapons instead of one and there is a new faction with a story for each of them. Free mode has been replaced with conquest mode which features over 200 challenges. The graphics also finally are meant to be next gen worthy. There are 62 characters as well. Here is one of the first reviews. Positive somehow

However I have no idea when it is actually releasing. EB say 31st (2 days time) but JB and GAME say 14th of april.
Also samurai warriors chronicles is meant to be out day one (also 31st), but it does not seem to be advertised anywhere. Does anyone know if these games are releasing and when? _________________

Played/owned a couple of them on 360. They were a lot of fun in split screen, though they never did feel like current gen games, more like last gen. This looks like it could be good, though I don't play much split screen anymore which is the main reason I bought the previous games :/

I understand why people may dislike the games since they do not change much and are repetitive, but with so many games needing concentration, sometimes you just want to come home from work and play something that lets you mash buttons and just kill thousands of warriors without having to think.
Good change of pace in my opinion. Also games have a lot of content. Each of the 4 story modes are said to take about 9-10 hours each and thats not including conquest or upgrading the 62 characters. Nice to have lots to do and know you will never get close to doing it all haha _________________

When I picked up my 3DS from JB yesterday they didn't have it, but today they had it on the shelf for $59. I went into EB Games on the way and they didn't have it. I think maybe more people wanted it than they expected? Either that or maybe there were shipping delays? Not too sure and to be quite frank don't care either.
It's a shame DW7 was delayed for another two weeks, I was really looking forward to it. Anyone see Warriors: Legends of Troy by the way? I was looking at getting it but I can't seem to find a proper Aussie release date for it nor find it in the shops. I might give it a miss until it gets cheaper anyway, especially since DW7 is so soon. The PALGN review suggests they've sent out review copies for the game. _________________

I see. I guess they put different price on the website. I lives in suburb and there's no nearby JBhifi or other game shop that sells games at cheaper price.
The nearest game shop is EB but EB is kinda rip off =.=

There's a bit of an inconsistency I guess, all the JB's I called in my area were selling it for $75, even the ones in the CBD _________________

You can wait till GAME gets stock back from their online store they have it for $59 with free shipping or you could just import from UK

Game is at SOME Ebs and JBs. All JBs near me seem to have it for 59. Matched it at EB and grabbed the last one at that particular store. Pretty good game so far _________________

We really should change this topic to "Warriors franchise" or something.
I ordered Warriors: Legends of Troy from Ozgameshop. I seriously couldn't find it anywhere so I thought "meh" and got it for $50 from the best online retailer in the world. As for DW7, I'll be getting that here in good old Australia. Mainly because I sometimes worry a bit that the Warriors games don't get enough exposure locally. So, I guess it's really my way of showing the series some support. I don't care about paying an extra $20-40, it saves me moving funds to credit card anyway since I usually purchase things with cash if I buy it locally. _________________
