Few times there you should have fungal'd instead of terran'd. Terran is only really good if you spit them out before the battle, then tank damge so your army can get in place. Otherwise fungal, retreat, fungal, retrat, fungal, attack.
Floating heaps of minerals as well. That could have been 30 more roaches.
I had a pretty bad night. Decided I would go 15 hatch every game. Lost 6 in a row before I won one. A couple I should have won, but just didn't scout properly. Like his tanks being naked when my mutas were harrasing, and one dude one base thor rushing. And one game where he built a bunker right next to my hatch, and didn't see it till it popped. I felt so stupid.
This is the first game I won. When the roach warren spawned, and I built heaps of roaches, I had 0 larva, almost 0 money, and almost 0 gas. I felt so fucking awesome for that awesome timing.

I think I was more limited on larvae than minerals (thanks to that high yield). And yeah I'm not the greatest with infestors, never really been able to micro them effectively.
15 hatch every game is dangerous. You either need to be scouting really early or on a gigantic map. _________________

wasn't really concerned about winning. I just rarely hatch first, so decided to dedicate a night to it. Can't be getting into Materclass with only 1 build.

Still good practise. Like the first few games, I used larva inject as soon as both my queens popped out. This resulted in 8 or so larva not being used. Then I decided to spit on my natural, and creep from my main. Then I had less larva and more creep. And was able to hold off the first attacks easier.

What's with all the 1 base Thor all ins tonight? 3/4 of the terran games were just 1 base Thors.
Since that night of hatch first, I've incorporated it more into my gameplay. Scrap, Shak and tal I always hatch first now, as they're good maps for it. Unless it's a zvz.
And I love Infestors against Protoss sooooo much now. Makes the death ball so easy to kill. Manage to kill all the ground units, so when my corruptors finally spawn they take out the col, then I pop again with roaches for a counter attack and destroy him.

Triple post ftl.
So the reset has happened today. Got paired against a plat for my placement game, absolutely destroyed him, but it put me back in Gold. Shouldn't be too far off Plat I'd say.

So it's just one match for replacement then? Does it take past season into account?
I'd hate to lose it and be placed into bronze league, just as I was making my way towards gold too...

It'll put you back in the league you were in unless you should have been promoted/demoted during the lockdown.

Yeh the 1 match is to weed out inactives so they dont get placed in leagues. Doesn't affect ur placement much.
On a side note everyone should watch the global team league World v Korea. Epic stuff.

Yeah I watched it. Glad I did, epic games.
After that decided to get some ladder points. So far I'm 3-0, beating 2 Plats then a Gold (who was also in my division). Now I've a notepad and am going to keep track of my win/loss ratio manually.
My ZvT is probably my best matchup at the moment. Bling muta is just so much fun and powerful. Toss and Zerg are a bit 50/50.

So does Blizzard hate me or love me? Got promoted in 3s and 4s but stayed in plat for 1s
Oh... I also got my hotshot feat of strength! _________________

Good stuff grim.
Is that 2v2, 3v3 and 4v4 random? I can never seem to bother carrying the team in random team games.

Yeah all random teams there. In arranged teams, I tend to get placed a lot lower _________________

Massive losing streak tonight.I think the reset may have fix a lot of the leagues, so people are actually in the right divisions now.

Been plating pretty consistently lately. Still majority of opponents are Gold, with the occasional Plat and Silver.
Back in the top 8 for my division.

Got a new zvz build. I would go into it, but I want to surprise Grim next time we play. So far it hasn't lost, but I've only tried it on the NA server (which I'm 7-1, getting placed against plat and 2 golds [I lost a game to a silver, but he had a 15 winning streak, so I presume he's going to get promoted real soon]).

I jumped on to try and catch you, so you can share this new build. I guess you were done for the night =(
Just played some StarJeweled, the games seem much shorter compared to the beta ones I played. I'm sure it was best of 3 or 5 rounds before, now it's just 1. Insane AI is damn hard on it too - doubled my energy count. _________________

Yeah, I generally make my posts after I've finished my session. Unless it's so awesome I can't forget it. And I play worse after midnight, so I tend to just mentally zone out around that time.
Yeah, they used to be best of 5. I think Bo1 is better, as most of the time the game is heaps laggy, which just prolongs it even more.
And OMG. OMG. OMG.
Just read on TL that you can use shift + # when adding to control groups. Now I won't be wasting so much time going ctrl + shift + #.
Now I'm thinking, what's the point of ctrl?

Ctrl + # assigns whatever you have selected to a group
So Shift + # adds whatever is selected to a group, keeping what was already there even if not already selected?
I guess Ctrl is for when you want to change what a group is - when swapping groups around or just erasing what used to be there.
What does Ctrl + Shift + # do? _________________

I used ctrl to select all that type of unit, if I was adding to one already, I would press ctrl + shift to add them. Then I just pressed the number. But now I'll probably just: #, shift, box, #. As i don't really need to select all units that often.

I've been getting back into this pretty heavily since the season restart, sitting at about 19 wins to 13 losses, just looking to promote to gold now. Most of my opponents are still silver at this stage, currently at the top of my division.
Terran opponents are becoming more of a rarity since the season reset, zerg is the most common opponent now it seems.
No stand out games really, just working on mid-game tech up after the first battle, seem to be transitioning alot better now and expanding at the right times.
