I'm contemplating whether I should transfer all my Pokemon from Diamond, where my Pokedex is nearly complete and try the same thing this time.
Hmm, I really need a second DS so I can start transferring.

EDIT: Is it just me, or is there one particular trainer who speaks a different language and never a word of english? Is he a tourist? Is it a glitch?

I'm desperately seeking Petilil.

I have Pokemon Black, and I'm aware that I can trade a Cottonee for Petilil in-game. But I have done so, and unfortunately, the Petilil I received did not have the ability I was after. I accidently saved it without thinking after the trade was done, so I can't reload and attempt it again.

I'm looking for Petilil, with the Own Tempo ability, and preferably a Modest nature. It'd be great if it was low in level too. I'd love to transition it into my in-game team immediately.

I've tried the GTS but have had no luck, and I'm quite fed up with the ridiculous requests. Haven't had much luck through negotiation either...

If you're able to help me out, please do so! I'd greatly appreciate it. I don't have a lot to offer, as I'm not too far in game. But I have managed to obtain a Joltik through negotiation that I'd be happy to part with. Or I can catch Cottonee for those with Pokemon White version!

^ I was hunting elemental monkeys and picked up a few Petilil. All around level 15 with Own Tempo, but only managed to get Quirky, Hasty or Mild versions. Let me know if any of those take your fancy, not really after anything for it, but if you have a spare Black version exclusive that would be cool.

*EDIT* Now also have Brave & Naive. Haven't managed to catch one with a modest nature with any ability.

I've been trying to EV train the past few days, so to speed it up, there are items you can get in Gear Station. Righto, I can do that.
But 3 BP per 7-win streak on the Single line?

Sawk is an awesome fighting pokemon. As soon as I came across one in the wild I grabbed it, it has racked up many wins since.

My current team is:

Servine (nicknamed SolidSnake)
Munna (nicknamed Psyche)
Herdier (nicknamed Woof)
Pidove (nicknamed Wark!)
Sawk (nicknamed KarateKid)
Panpour (nicknamed MonkeyKong)

All at level 20. I just beat the third gym, was surprisingly tricky.

Loss at the 4th badge by some rough luck and not healing before battle but came back and beat in like 4 moves. I think I will change my grass type with something with a bit more power and longer evolutionary line.

Just finished the game. Things got real hairy toward the end and if I didn't have heaps of Max Revives, I would've been toast. Took just over 35 hours, spending a fair bit of time exploring and tried each area for quite a while to catch various Pokemon. My final team:

Zekrom: lvl 52 (Wouldn't have made it if he wasn't there)
Vanilluxe: lvl 49 (Ice came in handy, aside from the final battles

)
Zebstrike: lvl 45 (Quick & despite a weak start, can take a hit)
Simpour: lvl 47 (Water-monkey did me proud)
Scrafty: lvl 47 (Very handy Pokemon, saved my arse a few times)
Serperior: lvl 48 (Quick & handy at times, but useless others)

Not really my ideal team or anything, it's just what I ended up with at the end after having a go with various beasties. Between them they had enough power to get through, though it felt like they very under-levelled (though I felt like that for a lot of the game).

Better get back to doing some uni work tomorrow >_>

Zekrom Lv.50

I made sure Zekrom fainted so he didn't gain exp. I usually always leave legendaries as they were when captured, and since I only had 4 in my party, I had no choice whether I used him or not.

Been playing this for the last few days basically non stop. I'm up to 7 badges, and I've actually ditched Serperior. First time I've dumped the starter on my first play through. There are about 12 pokemon I want in my team...

After an amusing start to the 'end-game', the game has turned into a chore due to all the new trainers having Pokemon that are 15 - 20 levels more than mine. The battles are taking forever and I really can't be bothered to put the time into grinding as in this game I find it to be extremely dull and it would be precious hours I could be putting into another game. I thought the post-game stuff would be entertaining, but it has killed my interest in the game and I think I'll try and sell it while it still holds some retail value.

We had a good run and after 40 hours, I'm calling it quits and just putting a call out to anyone who wants some Pokemon. Shoot me a PM if you're interested in any of the following: Serperior, Victini, Panpour, Thundurus, Cobalion, Virizon, Zekrom. If you want an item sent along too, let me know. I doubt I've got anything too flash as I didn't bother with an FAQ for this game, but I've probably got some ok stuff.

That's the same reason I've slowed my playing, but I've set up some plans for a bit of a competitive team and having a wild swing at some competition.

Of course, the main reason I'll be doing this is because I want this game to hopefully tide me over for quite some time while the 3DS starts to kick into gear. So hopefully It can do that.

I don't think I can go back to playing Diamond, It's just going to have to stay at 230hrs. XD

I've just hit the 25 hour mark, and I only have two badges! I'm loving this Generation. Enjoying it immensely!

There's so many Pokemon I want to train, or add to my team. Choosing just six is incredibly hard this time round. Hunting down the elemental monkeys was such a rewarding task when I finally completed the task, regardless of their battle potential/prowess, or lack thereof.

The addition of the GTS Negotiation has it so much easier to amass a great Pokemon collection quickly, and with minimal fuss. I'm loving it!

Thanks again to Pilot, for the Petilil. It's a beast of a Pokemon. Taking down everything that comes up against it! I can't wait till it learns Quiver Dance, and Petal Dance.

I know Petalil needs a Sun Stone to evolve, but what's the first possible point in game, I can obtain one?

Going by the Serebii website you can get a Sun Stone in 3 different places: Relic Castle, Nimbassa City or at a shop in Black City.

I totally just found a Wild Pansage in some shaking grass, Shame I uhh, don't really like the elemental monkeys.

I am at the 4th Gym, but keep on losing to a certain guy at the ferris wheel.

Herdier - Lv 24
Darumaka - Lv 20

I plan to ditch Throh and probably Darumaka if I can find a better fire type. I'm in love with the rest. I also need to find a 6th party member.
