Well that was....weirdly entertaining.
I was expecting a production in similar fashion to that of the recent Machete flick (which I loved) but Hobo With A Shotgun is D-grade all the way, and once I realised this and took it for what it was, it was highly enjoyable.
Soundtrack was awesome, early 80's style, and Ricky from Trailer Park Boys is in a scene. Whole premise is obviously grossly unbelievable, but the 'villains' felt a bit too 'Robocop 2' if you know what I mean. It's quite a depressing movie to begin with, which sets it all up nicely though.
Action was pretty much non-stop, and gradually became more gory as it went on. Some hilarious scenes and out-of-place quotes from Rutger Hauer. (lost my s*** 2/3 through from one of his lines)
Probably the first ever pure D-grade flick I've ever watched.....and I loved it.
