I loved this game. Wouldn't mind ... oh wait. Soul Reaver. Damn, I thought it was the original Legacy of Kain.

I was almost going to title this "Denny wets himself" and just put the rest in the blurb. _________________

Im with you Cyph. Thought this was finally Blood Omen. Not to worry, got the PC version working perfectly with some of the great user made mods out there. Same with Soul Reaver too!
Who needs PSN anymore
If any of you want to relive the 'magic' on PC and need to get pointed in the right direction for patches / fixes etc, let me know.

I think I played this game as a kid....But it's all hazy. All I can remember is some guy getting his wings ripped off. Is that this one? _________________

Awesome. I've been hankering to play it again recently. But it'll be like everything i buy off the psn, play it for a few hours on the psp, and not touch it again. Still got my ps disc for it. _________________

The original and the best my friend
Controls perfect with a USB gamepad too. I still have my revered PC box disc and map of Nosgoth in pristine condition. One of my all time fave game series. Let me know if you need a hand getting it working when the time comes.
Luke - yep, that's the one. Best to play Blood Omen, Soul Reaver, Soul Reaver 2, Blood Omen 2 (worst in the series as made by different developer) and then Defiance. All of the above are available on PC.

Pity Legacy of Kane isn't available on the Australian PSN store.

Oh man, if there was a series that deserved a HD collection re-release...

Yeah, Soul Reaver was awesome (I hated Crystal Dynamics for the 'ending' though), but surely they would've just been better off releasing a port of the PC/Dreamcast version. PSOne classics FTL. If the PS3's PSX emulator software was capable of improving the graphics with texture filters, proper HD resolutions etc, it wouldn't be so bad, but yeah...
