Oh cool it's not just me, I was playing online against my mate who's also in brisbane, never had lag issues with him in any other game (Street fighter, blazblue etc) and this was lagging like a bitch in heat.

My thought on bitches in heat would be that lag would be minimal, such would be the eagerness to jump bones and such.

couldnt wait for import so picked this up from jb for $88
psn: not_jezza - always welcoming online challengers even though i'm nubskill at the moment
ultra struggling with the new 3 button system... first fighting game i ever played seriously was mvc2 (and played many hours and got reasonably good imo) so my brain is hard wired to the 4 button system
pretty pleased with the game overall but i've noticed that every character has shoryuken command moves in this game, which is tough for me coming from mvc2 cos it didn't seem to have them that much, especially with the supers
looking forward to learning the new style and getting competitive again

I wasn't ignoring your fight request earlier mate, sorry. Was in a lobby with Zero and had to dash shortly after.

How does online on this work. Is it only player using 3 characters against another person using 3 characters or can 3 people use a character each on each team?
I'm more of a team player than a full on competetive player so I would love to play in a team and maye even learn something from some good players.

I just beat galactus with X-23 alone.My other two got wiped out before Galactus so I thought there was no way in hell I could win but I pretty much annihilated him with her.
Too bad I'm playing on easy because I suck.But I'm still happy that I beat him with one character.

So I finally managed to play this game today!
At JB Hifi using a PS3 controller....
Still, I had a lot of fun playing MODOK. He'll be one of my mains because I love hearing him say psionic blaster all the time. That and his keep away game is awesome.

Americans, Asians, Europeans, etc.... Playing them all and games are running fine. Can't do this with the two SF4 games where I can only play Aussies.
There is a bit of input lag but most people will not notice or be bothered by it -me included-. Mainly the ultra competitive and serious folks will be put off by it.
Fireballs and shots are too effective. You can win with many characters by staying in the corner and spamming shots and mixing with assists.
Sentinel, Dante, Akuma, DP, are the characters I have faced the most.
Enjoying game but not as much as SFIV.
