Just had some matches with Zero.

It's fun, so they got that down pat. It's also confusing. And x-factor is a ridiculous game breaker. Like what the hell at its damage multiplier.

Agreed, it's mad fun. But my god, X-factor, they should really reduce the damage lmao, wiping out an entire team with level 3 x-factor is quite easy lolol.

EDIT: Just did a simple combo with Zero, without X-Factor its 468,400dmg, with X-Factor it skyrockets up to 1,099,000dmg...holy shit

Had a few games on XBL tonight. Nobody I knew was on, or anyone from here by the looks of it.

Went about 50/50. Fun, great in small doses IMO. Starting to get some mains together now though, which I figure will only make the game a little better.

Was planning on buying this, but due to my work being cut, I don't have the money to spend on it right now icon_sad.gif Is Zavvi/The Hut's price the cheapest?

Just finished arcade for the first time and I have to say that I absolutely love it.

A lot of fighters for me I start getting bored before I even finish arcade but I didn't get bored in the slightest while playing through arcade in this.

I haven't even learned how to do anything, not even how to switch out characters icon_lol.gif but it didn't stop me from having a blast.

Galactus is difficult but he never really feels cheap.

Just saw everything I unlocked for beating arcade only ince and it was already quite a lot. There must be tons of unlockable and I LOVE unlockables.

I think I have found my new favourite PS3 fighter.

game is pretty fun, loving the unlocks.

Taskmaster sword master move is fucking crazy, loving super skrull.
The move list is retarded though.

L+M+H+S at the same time.

I was playing around with it last night and lost some sleep because of it haha. Pretty sure my mains that I'm comfy with now are Akuma, Ryu and Dante. Dante's move list is insanely complicated, but very cool.

Akuma is f**king amazingly high damage as well once you get used to him. Air combos are madness.

Game's just an epic amount of fun.

So the only character I definitely have down for my main is Super Skrull.

Am thinking Taskmaster for the second spot, his sword mastery move is absolutely crazy.

Played against my mate last night, his team is Morigan, Phoenix, Ammy.

Phoenix is cheap as shit and can die in a fire. The only way I could beat his pheonix was to counter cheap with cheap and spam heavy with sentinel.

I know this might sound like a dumb question but can someone please help me regarding the "ideal" button layout for this game on a stick? Does everyone use the default settings or do they customise it?

For the record, I'm using a Madcatz TE stick at the moment, so the layout is
X Y RB LB
A B RT LT

Any help would be appreciated. Thaaanks.

The ideal layout is Type B, so it would be like.

L,M,H
S,A1,A2

I've actually been wondering about that too.

I have

M/L/A1
S/H/A2

Mainly cause in Blazblue I use

M/L
D/H

It works pretty fine the only problem I have so far is it can be kind of awkward doing Supers with anything other then L/M

[EDIT]
Oh yeah, Arthur is AWESOME.

^ I had that initially too. But it's far better using Zero's way.

Yeah I'm thinking of changing it to zero's way, Super Skrulls level 3 super is aimed depending on which two buttons you push and at the moment I can only really connect it on the left side of the screen and not middle or right.

It only makes sense to do it using Type B, that way it goes up accordingly to the strength of the button, anything else is just confusing and doesn't work well.

I've gone w/ a similar lay out as Zero's and for my Hori Fighting Stick 3 used:

L M H A1
S 3A A3 A2

With 3A being L+M+H and A3 being A1+A2

With this lay out I find I can use my little finger to triger the assists. Doesn't mean I'm still any good at using them effectively though. I go about 50/50 online against others which is ok, but not that great either.
