I read the PS3 version framedrops more than the x360 version. What versions you guys gonna be buying? I'll probably get ps3 because of the free online...

Really? It's a bit unlike Capcom not to make them indentical (or even to have slowdown).

well their engine never holds up as well on the ps3. Most times its close but in a fighting game where frames count, plus the fact that this one's 3D, it drops frames to maintain the framerate? I think anyhow. Be interesting to see the actual vs comparision o the games across the console formats`

There is slowdown on both versions, especially when things get crazy on screen. It's still unacceptable.

Really? Capcom have done a great job porting games across the PS3/360 and making them almost indentical.
I agree, looking forward to Eurogamer's face off with this one.
I also think the comic book is pretty rubbish. If you paid more for it you got ripped off. So happy with JB's $88 though. It was listed as $99 for ages.

Well apparently Frank West was a last minute cut so I wouldn't be suprised if there was still some data on him in the game.
Doc Oc would be.... the weirdest fucking choice, but also could be kind of awesome.

Hi everyone.
Could someone who has purchased a UK copy for the PS3 please comment on their experience with online play in Australia when they get the chance? I'm keen to grab a UK and save some dollars, but not at the expense of being forced to connect with servers on the other side of the globe...
This is the first fighter I'll ever have played online so I'm not familiar with what's the normal practice for connecting players (regionally, globally, etc).
I've only just bought a PS3 too so pretty nub with the intricacies of imports, but I am aware that UK games are usually a safe bet with DLC from the Aus PSN. I've tried Googling to no success, so could anyone post the BLxx codes for a UK version and an Aus version, to check they are the same?
Thanks in advance for any help!

I have bought few games from UK, SF4, SSF4, Blazeblue. I have never had problems with online play. I always get connect to aussie servers. I am sure its location based

Dr Oct would rock. Frank West is all but in. If you go the voting page, almost everybody has suggested him.
I want Gambit & Rogue personally.
Strange game. It certainly feels a lot different to anything I've played. I played all night with my mate (who also was green). We have great fun.
It does feel a bit unpolished and rushed. I can see where the reviews are comign from now with the presentation. I was very dissapointed with the lack of stages as well. Gameplay is fun but seems a bit sloppy atm. I guess I'm used to the precison of SFIV so this may take a bit of getting used too.
Does anybody know how to make the characters music play instead of the crappy stage music? That's really annoying me cause in all the trailers it was always the character music of the incoming character that would play.

Should be fine. I've bought DLC for both SFIV/SSFIV and there were no problems with my UK editions.

It depends. They have a history of sending NTSC games instead sometimes when you're under the impression you're getting a PAL copy. On the whirlpool forums, one of the Ozgameshop reps is there who regularly answers questions on these sort of things.
Keep it in mind.

Doesn't quite work that way. They openly sell NTSC games as well as PAL.

Though it has oz in the name and prices on the site are Aussie prices, it's actually in the UK.So depending on what you mean by Aus games, the games are UK games.

Ok I picked this up today on 360 from Game.
This is seriously one of the last times I purchase from Game. They suck so much now. They had it for $98, I asked them to price match JB for $88. The dude said it was all sweet, then I had 3 games to trade in and he was like "uhh we can't price match if you are trading in games due to the bonus $5 offer".... I don't see how that works. He was willing to price match it before he saw my games so what difference does it make? >___________>
I only need to spend like $20 more to get my next rewards voucher so as soon as I get that, goodbye Game  .
