Noticed JB hifi's website has a listing for the Tournament Edition. $197. Don't know how well the stick would work with others fighters.

Stick is purely collectible, it has the MK button layout. Which means it'd be completely useless for any other game. American buttons and stick, so not sure what to think of the quality.
Do you know if we're getting this??:
If those bookends are good quality and price is reasonable(~$120/$130 considering AU price increases - its $100US), i'll bite.

Oh yeah,
JB Has the Regular Collectors edition......but instead of bookends, it has a figurine of scorpion vs sub-zero. bam:
I asked at EB and apparently they have the bookends.....but they havn't been able to confirm that yet. 
EDIT: Just checked EB's website, They have the figurine as well. Australia gets stooged, again.

I've checked and amazon has it express shipped(arrives around 3 days) and i believe it ended up being round the same price as the Kollector's edition here - $125-$130
I myself am not sure if i should import or not, even if it's round the same price.

Speaking specifically for the parts of the stick, those are the highest quality parts in terms of the western-style arcade parts. Those who don't like Japanese parts such as Sanwa and Seimitsu typically go for IL sticks and Happ buttons which the MK stick has. This stick format also fits the GGXX format since that is a five button fighter as well.
EDIT: Mad Catz also revealed at my local arcade that they are making and selling new MK panels for existing tournament sticks to simply replace the original panels.

It would fit most fighters bar street fighter really, Blazblue, MvC3 etc would work with that layout.
