Aw man, none of the original Battlefield musical score? Probably one of the best musical pieces I've heard in a shooting game. Always got myself worked up and in the spirit of the game.

with the true infinity ward not making this years COD (or treyarch for that matter) and no halo (other than the remake) I can not see how this wont be the number 1 shooter this year.

What about gears of war 3? or crisis 2? but still it should be in the top 3 shooters

I doubt it. Homefront might have a neat story but it's gameplay won't compare to the top line shooters. I think Bulletstorm or Crysis 2 might get more buzz than Homefront. Then there is the wild card Duke which could be amazing or amazingly bad. Also CoD is such a freight train at the moment. It would take 1 or 2 actual bad games to knock it off.

top of my must buy list for both pc and ps3, gotta make sure i can play it as much as possible.

Is it just me, or does the box art feel very Modern Warfare 2?

This should be awesome. I can't wait to grab the PC and 350 versions and just jump right into some epic online battles.

I can't imagine this being anywhere near as fun on consoles as PC, considering the maps will be designed with 64 players in mind, and then to only play with 24, it sounds like the maps will be quite empty.

my guess is that they may have smaller scaled down maps for the consoles for that reason. probably closer to the size of maps in BC2.
well i hope so anyway, otherwise yes it would feel very empty.

That's how they handled map sizes in 2, it scaled. Not sure how they will handle vehicles on console as the jets can dominate games with 64 players. Can't imagine with so few numbers.

i would hope the destruction 3.0 or whatever we're up to is completely unscripted. BC2 has somewhat scripted destruction, and not everythings desctrible. id like to see towers topple over if u dynamite the base icon_biggrin.gif
