Ever wondered the process and the bottle-necks of getting the PS1 classics on PSN? If so, click away and read!!!
Glad to see Sony is actually putting a lot of effort in this.

Interesting read... So that's why there are games in the US store that we can't get in ours. I was browsing the Store trying to find the original Silent Hill and the Resident Evil games and was disgusted to find that they weren't there.
It shouldn't be a problem with the emulation though - I know some people with hacked PSP's who can run US PSOne games in the usual emulator built into the PSP and they run just as well on an Australian PSP as PAL games do.

Nice of them to actually come out and say this in a blog post. Its previously been mentioned in brief in the comment section over the years when people complain about a game not being available. They should probably attach a link to that article at the end of all there PSN updates in the future. _________________

Tombi might be on the PSN soon. That would be fantastic if I didn't already buy it complete for $110, three years ago ( worth it in my eyes, can't put a price on nostalgia). _________________ Currently Playing : Atelier Iris 2 (PS2), Xenoblade Chronicles (Wii), Legend of Heroes : Trails of the Sky (PSP), 9 Hours, 9 Persons, 9 Doors (DS) and Final Fantasy XIII (PS3)

Nice read! It must be a down right pita to go through old legal stuff for some games. That must be a minefield!

A great idea would be if you could somehow trade PSOne games that you already own for their PSN equivalents though.
I mean, I bought Medievil years ago and recently had to pay fifteen bucks to play it again. Admittedly, that's not much, but this *is* for a twelve year old game I already own. _________________
