woah! looks like I finally read a review, and quite a good one at that. Just who is the "debiliate" or mr. nonnyno whatever...yeah, did you include a screenshot of him.....that?
well, this looks like a very unique game. No hacking and slashing and crashing and shooting and bloodspurting anywhere. Just running, and hiding. Quite new! Although like all horror games with a female character, it doesn't quite look like they want to kill her...

Now this is a game that looks goooood!
Finally I've found a horror game where you are apparently helpless against whatever weird scary stuff is after you.
I might get this for my PS2 (considering I sold all the other PS2 games I owned...)

she will start to panic and the screen will flood with adrenaline-soaked effects like heavy motion blur, a slower frame-rate, and charcoal like colour to mimic her falling state of mind
There is no other way to really explain it. I spose a screenshot would be a good idea.
Kinda looks extreme hey? But it works well

I'd recommend going over to www.capcom.com/hauntingground and checking the videos on there - they show the panic system in motion.
I think this game looks kinda cool, but it's getting average reviews... some are saying it's too much like what Capcom has already offered...
But, I've never played a Capcom horror game outside of RE and RE0 for the GCN, so this game looks good to me.
Plus, reviewers aren't always right now, are they now...
