^I'd go with 20 March for US (Nintendo in the US usually release stuff on Sundays, Europe Fridays and Australia Thursdays) with a price of $US300. 25th for Europe and 24th or 31st for Australia costing $400.

Friend codes, though locked to the system. One friend code universal for all games. Add a friend once and you can see them online as well as what game they are playing.

Watching the Euro feed the whole time, and read the US liveblog on Kotaku. The demonstrations so far have made it hard to stay awake.
Generic beautiful people walking around with the console in stock footage, and developers who need a translator for everything they say whilst talking about boring genres like sports and fighting. Hoping this picks up :/

They just talked about the Nintendo "E-Shop" in relation to digital downloads. Gameboy and Gameboy Color games will be buyable.
March 25th is the launch date across Europe.
To be honest, there's not alot there that interests me launch game wise. Street Fighter IV, Ocarina of Time, etc.. I already own on other systems.
I think I'll stick with the DS and iPhone for now..

Nintendo really needs to push a hard launch of software. I recognise that existing IPs are important, but this is all we're seeing right now. Why don't companies who have access to the big bucks become a little bit braver?

After all that, I can't pick a single title that I'm genuinely excited about. Usually on launch I have a clear idea of exactly which titles I'll buy. DS launch was Wario Ware and SM64DS. This time... I dunno. Maybe Kid Icarus and Steel Diver? Not really feeling a 'must have' vibe from anything. Consider me disappointed for now.
