lots of apps go free on itunes.
grab the appshopper app - it'll let you know when things go free:
anyhow, any paid app that goes free - under price, it'd say "FREE", grab it and you'll own it forever.

Diner Dash doesn't seem to be free outside the US. Same goes for the new Street Fighters Bubble game.
That AppShopper page needs a filter by iTunes store/country to be really useful =\

you can setup a US itunes account and grab the games.
* you'll need to google how to do it to avoid the credit card page. Ther'e a way to do it.

True... but I really thought it would of had an option where it would say something like "Are you sure you want to buy?". But it doesn't, it just downloads....
Argh. Doesnt matter, My Broken Sword is downloaded now.
I think Ill return to the Steam sales and console bargains lookouts now. If iPhone stuff comes up now... I can take a slight interest in it too.

If you have bought something in the past 15 minutes or so or set it to one click buy, then it won't ask you to confirm. Though one click buy only works through iTunes, so if it was on your iPhone/iPod then you must have downloaded something else recently.

Diner Dash was Free till last night coz I got it from app store and it did say Free, Also got Broken Sword and Street Fighter Bubble for free.

yer guys all 3 of the games were free and I picked them all up. Not sure how long it was going for. I apologize if anyone bought it and it was not free, but unless it says free than it no longer is free. It usually asks for a password unless you have just grabbed something else. They were free on the Australian account. Broken sword is very impressive so far.
More bargains I saw on ecogamer include
forza 3 ultimate 10 pounds at game.co.uk
and dragon age ultimate for $40 at ozgameshop
squareball on iphone is also free at the moment. Very highly rated on IGN

can't believe EA is giving away Mirror's edge free. Go to itunes to grab this or the HD/Ipad version. Insane!
I bought it for $1.20 during thanks giving but this is a $10 game. And its pretty good.

EA Xmas sale = a lot of games @ $1.19

you can see from that page that ME dropped to $1.19 on the 16th of December or thereabouts. A lot of EA's games went on sale.
that plus my 25% itunes cards discount = 90cents

Yer i picked up deathworm yday. I use appshopper alot. I know most games were 1.19 and that mirrors edge was in the US but the (world) version never went down in price. The same goes for metal gear touch and castlevania puzzle game. They were 99cents in the US but still $6 and $10 here
