Damn. Haven’t had a chance to play and now Sin's passed me. Slappy too, I'm guessing. I have Friday off so I’ll be doing my best to catch up then!

Man I honestly can't tell if that's sarcasm or not, but did you finally beat it? If so congrats.
Anyway, The Kid warp was classic. Definitely some frustrating platforming involved, but I can honestly say I enjoyed it. Respect to Team Meat for a great achievement. Reckon I found the second level the toughest, as I found it hard to link for some reason. The third was brutal until I figured out a method, at which point it became the easiest. Overall though, my favourite part of the game so far.
And I still can’t believe I haven’t popped in Castlevania yet! Well played Team Meat, well played.

It was, and I haven't. I've got the timing nearly down pat, but the top section slays me - too much precision required. I can get sooooooooo cloooooose. _________________

Tears, you're still ahead of me on the leaderboards though. *shakes fist*
Every level in Cotton I've had about 100 tries at before completing them (only done the first 5 or 6 so far), it's not like they're hard to figure out just the timing needs to be perfect or you're screwed.
So I went back to Chapter 2 for some Dark World love and realised there were two stages on the light side I hadn't done, silly me, got them out of the way last night though.

Never even bothered to look at this game until now. Game looks freaking awesome, love the different worlds I saw from the review, looks insane as hell with charm up the wazoo, whilst still keeping the fun factor. Will grab it next Tuesday and join in on the leaderboard action.

Teh Internets can also go die in a fire.
It's interesting though, the levels are often as frustrating as Cotton Alley but where CA tends to be very task heavy TI is very minimalist in its designs.
Next bit is in spoiler tags, it details the design of the final level of Teh Internets.
| Teh Internets 0-20 wrote: | | For instance I'm doing the final level now (there are a few scattered along the way I haven't completed yet, and I have bugger all A+'s) and it's just a long climb up single square blocks. A lot of the jumps between said blocks require then leaping off the side to get on top. I honestly am having more trouble on this than some of the crazy, blades everywhere, puzzles. |
Oh, and the rocket levels are pretty freaking brutal too. Leaping up tiny platforms all the while two or three launchers are harassing you, it's all single screen too so it's not like there's a huge amount of distance between you and impending doom.

I bought the game yesterday. It is so damn addictive. My thumb is really starting to hurt, and I don't want to stop playing.
I do have one question though:
Why is it that with levels where you find the band-aids, when you collect the band-aid, AND finish it under time, the band-aid icon doesn't appear on the overworld map? Because some levels appear with the band-aid icon in the top right corner, and others don't have it.
It's just a curiosity thing at the moment. But it means I keep going back to finish the level in less and less time to try and get the band-aid icon to appear _________________

I had that happen to me once when I got the band aid and finished the level for the first time under par. Since then I just finish the level then go back to collect the band aid and it hasn't happened since.

Easily my favourite old school platformer for quite some time, bought the game this afternoon and have only just stopped to put it down. Finished the first two chapters all with A+ so far. Sin is carving it up on the leaderboards. So many levels, going to take me for a while to complete, the levels are starting to become frustrating so I called it a night.
So are there bandages on every level? Seems weird if there is, looks to me like 20 bandages per world, but is it overall?

There's 20 bandages per World, which are spread out among both light and dark levels. so some levels won't have any. Of the 20 some can also be found in the hidden warp zones. So make sure you check all the levels.
Oh, and once you get past the first couple of Worlds my times aren't on top, I haven't got around to speed running everything yet, working on finishing the remaining levels first.

Just wanted to spread the good news:
http://www.kotaku.com.au/2010/11/super-meat-boy-teases-new-360-chapter-new-pc-character/
They’re deleting all the 0.0 times! Another awesome independent developer who understands what’s important. Oh, and all other known glitches (I’m guessing the percentages and bandage glitches) will be fixed. Sweet! They’re also throwing in some free DLC to sweeten the deal.
Something I really hope gets fixed is the inaccurate finish times on some levels. On a fair few levels I’ve gotten a certain time only to have it recorded as something worse, without being able to get any better. It’s also gone the other way – instances where I’ve gotten a time and been given a tenth of a second off. Neither is cool and I really hope it’s part of the patch.

As far as I can tell, all of my times are .09 seconds slower than what the counter says. I haven't really paid attention but I just figured the timer started as SMB was warping in and so the end counter factored this into the leaderboard.
I need to get back to this, stopped playing while I dabbled in a few of my other games, but I really need to get back to it and finish off the last few dark renditions of the Worlds. That and the distance between my score and yours is stretching further and further apart.
Also apparently they're going to continually add to Teh Internets with the best of the user created PC levels being put into the 360 game. Can't freaking wait. Shoulda gone to your link BEFORE typing this. Oh Well, I'm pretty excited that they're doing stuff with the extra characters as they've been getting pretty neglected by me unless I need one for a warp or something.

I am probably double-dipping for the Steam-version just to get my hands on the level-editor.
I unlocked 'The Kid' a few days ago, and it was one of my proudest moments in gaming ( that I can recall, at least ). The first level was difficult, but not that frustrating, but it took me quite a while to get the timing down in the second level ( the spikes... ). The third one was easiest by far once you got the rhythm into your backbone.
I am thoroughly enjoying this game, and have probably spent dozens of hours on it already. This is one of the few XBLA titles I can see myself playing years from now. _________________

I think it was the 30th of November, and yes, there probably will be a demo ( since the XBLA -release also had a trial ). _________________

Played to the 1st boss. What a killer game. Awesome awesome awesome. Loving the challenging and the gorey/weird graphics.
This is definitely one of those instances where screenshots and videos don't given the real impression of how aweseome the game is. Loving the hardcoreish difficulty

Good time for bumping.
A+'d every light world and am ALMOST at the point of iron man achieving The Hospital. Also one level off iron manning The Forest Dark World too.
Need 20 more bandages too and I get Viridian and Steve. Game's amazing but also brings out the worst of me, aka super OCD perfectionist with gaming. _________________

I'm pretty sure I'm going to be grabbing the Steam version as well, just for the level editor and extra characters.

I love this game. I haven't enjoyed dying since the PS1 Crash Bandicoot games, so this was a nice trip down memory lane (in one sense and another). _________________

oh my god. That was quite the session. Play til the 3x fan level on hospital and I can't do it. (well, I'm sure I'll get it). Man, some of these challenges are insane and I'm only on the 2nd world. The silhouette one had me cursing like a mad man.
I honestly don't see myself doing the bandaid challenges. Already swearing up a storm. Had to stop before I gave myself an aneursym
/goes back to play some more.
*the 2nd worlds warp zone with the guy in black. And the spikes. Um, how do you get past that? There is NO WAY to do it. I gave up _________________
