I'm not sure if I've put this in the right area, but I needed some clarification on the measurements of the Small size t-shirts.

Now I've always loved the designs on threadless but always stop myself from buying 'cause I can never find a correct fitting t-shirt.
So the other day I bought an XS shirt which would normally fit me fine in any other circumstance, but it was actually really tight, that it felt like a muscle t shirt. and I look like a prick wearing it icon_razz.gif

So I thought I'd try my luck with Small, which is good 'cause there are heaps more designs. I ordered a Small yesterday so I could eventually see just how well it fits me, or whether it'll fit me at all.

But then I got an email this morning saying this shirt has been reprinted:
http://www.threadless.com/product/1199/Metal_Fan
and I've wanted this shirt for a long time.

So I was wondering if there was someone who could give me the measurements for a Regular Fit Small t-shirt that they've ordered from Threadless? I'm more concerned with the actual length of the shirt. I hate wearing baggy t-shirts...but I really want this damned shirt!!!!!

If anyone can help that'd be heaps good icon_smile.gif

Edit: Just to clarify, I had a look at the measurement chart on threadless already, but it only gives me the size of the chest, which I checked on myself, and that's fine. so it's just the length of the shirt I need to worry about.

Rule of thumb with buying apparel from the US is that their sizes run bigger than our own (as much as that means, given how much this shit varies) - so order down. But you want length, so... Threadless used to specify what brand and 'model' of shirt that they were using. Find that, then google the manufacturer (mostly American Apparel I think?) to find their size charts - they usually specify length and width.

Also, as a more general note (and not to single you out dude, I've just noticed it a bit lately), we've been getting a fair few new threads being created lately to ask a question. This is what we have the 'One Questions' thread for guys, please start using that instead.

I took that approach when I ordered the XS shirt the first time, and like I said before, it's like the tighest shirt I own. That's why I don't want to order anymore than one t shirt and be stuck with five shirts that don't fit me. When I get home i'll check that manufacturer's info you're talking about.

and I apologise for making a single topic for this. I was in a bit of a hurry this morning so I forgot to look for a place to ask this question. It can be moved to the one question thread if you need to.

Thanks for the help man.

Well I am at the stage where I wear inbetween a small and medium sized shirts from Australian retailers and I ordered medium sized shirts of THreadless and they fitted very well. they are not to long at all and they go down past my belt line but not much further than that. they are great shirts but yeah, I advise ordering a single one first to make 100% aure.
