Nice. Very nice. The desert, huh? Not exactly my favorite kind of environment, but then again, neither are snowy landscapes and I still loved Uncharted 2. Naughty Dog can take any environment and turn it into pure gaming bliss.
Funny how the real name is kinda similar to the fake "leaked" one (Drake's Deception <=> World of Deceit)...

While I still thought Uncharted 2 was an A quality game, I thought the story was rushed and patchy and the game itself just didn't have that same feeling of greatness that the original had.
So hopefully the 3rd one steps it up.

Interesting environment to go for and Nathan looks hotter than ever!!!. Looking forward to finding out more about Drake's character and back story and Sullivan is awesome. I'm wondering if this will be the last game in the series.
Can't wait to play this and hope it's released next year.

If all goes just according to keikaku, it will release late next year, probably as a holiday game. It's slated for then, and pre-orders are open in the states, but you never know what will happen and like all titles it may get delayed.

I just read it on Siliconera, and yeah, pretty happy to hear. I think we all knew it would happen one day, but it's nice to see some details about it!
I love news like this, though. It really does make me feel like buying a PS3 was justified.

After thinking about it, it will be next year I reckon. Cause so far the series has been released 2 years apart and October/November 2011 will be 2 years since Uncharted 2.

Awesome. Uncharted 2 is the only multiplayer game I've spent a large amount of time on and U3 will probably be the same.

Err.. they need to compete??? Have they totally lost the plot? Uncharted is one of the hottest franchises right now...
I certainly hope they don't focus too heavily on the MP.. I hate the MP on PSN.. it's a very flaky network.

HYPE HYPE HYYYPPPEEEE.
Cannot wait. They really don't need to upgrade the single player much, just as long as the graphics are tweaked a bit to make it look that little bit nicer than anything else out there. That being the case, I think they really could nail the Multiplayer while still providing an equally awesome single player campaign, compared to the first 2 games.
