Ok so was playing last night, I went outside as Desmond into the villa and activated by eagle vision. And there's a red trail to follow on the ground that takes you to the bottom of the steps infront of the big assassin symbol. Then just stops there.
Anyone else found this or figure out what to do? _________________

It's the escape route Ezio uses at the start. It does nothing... _________________

Okay ... I have been able to access the armor and aqueducts when I tried today, so I don't really know what the problem was, but UPlay is still being a so and so and won't let me download any of those optional costumes/skins or upgrades or what have you.
I have UPlay points from Prince of Persia, I think ... as well as all the ones I unlocked playing AC2 ... and I can't use 'em!
It's not the end of the world, but I don't want to let this beat me. However, if I don't spend any of my UPlay points for AC: B, I might have just enough to unlock all the UPlay content when Assassin's Creed 3 rolls around.
I might get around to actually playing the game later, hmm? _________________

I have 80 UPlay points and I can't spend them on anything because the Shop section says "coming soon". The only information I can access is the help and the bit about how to acquire more points.
I wouldn't concern yourself too much with the UPlay stuff. Just play the game and in a few days they'll hopefully have it fixed.
Anyway, I just unlocked the assassin's part. Sending Assassin's out, leveling them up, upgrading their skills and equipment is sweet. There's so many distractions in this game, it's little wonder I am only on the fourth sequence after about 15 hours play.

Yeah, you're right. They're extras, they're not going to add much to the game, I was able to download the important stuff ...
I think I'm going to come across as a serial whiner here, but I'm just curious about something. You know the races and so on that you can access through Virtual Training? What exactly is the point of those, does anyone know? I mean, is there any reason to get gold on all of them or is that just for show? I'm guessing trophies?
I don't think it's good for my blood pressure. The races are a massive pain, mainly because Free Run has a mind of its own on occasion, and it can be very tough to be so precise. Also, if you press R1 and X too soon, Ezio basically stands there doing nothing. I know others have had an issue with controlling Ezio in the past, not enough to be a detractor from the game, but I know it's not just me who feels this way, so what do you guys think? _________________

If you get bronze on all the challenges you unlock the Raiden outfit. _________________

I know how you feel. There's nothing worse than being promised additional content only to find you can't access it so I can understand your frustration. I will however say that any bonuses like armour and equipment upgrades is wholly unnecessary because the game is already easy enough as it is. It would be nice to have for completion's sake, but it's not needed in the first part of the game at least.

I haven't done any of those outside the first introduction one so I'm not familiar with the mode, but I do know that you get a trophy for getting 3 gold medals and that trophy also unlocks 10 UPlay points.

Completely agree here. When you're running away from guards/racing that's when the free running quirks really shine. It's fine if you have the time to premeditate routes to take, but when you're under pressure a slightly imperfect jump could mean going flying off the building or not hitting the intended target. I hated the races in ACII so I'm not looking forward to the VR ones.
-----------
I like how the game references finding all the feathers in ACII. I didn't even do that. Couldn't be arsed. Thankfully there's maps you can buy for the feathers and Borgia flags this time around (or was there a feather map in ACII?)
Anyone encountered any glitches yet? I was fighting a group of guards and thieves when suddenly a horse came flying in (on its side) from the right crashing into everyone.

Theres a glitch i mentioned earlier in the thread with using tunnels before you're told about them by Machiavelli - potentially game breaking.
Other than that, I watched a video by a reviewer who ended up stuck floating at the world's ceiling XD
I found a polygon on the ground in the countryside that had no texture. I also found a flat piece of ground in the colosseum that Ezio peers over as if it were a ledge... _________________

I had one were I called an arrow strike on a group of 4 guards, watched the arrows hit them and do nothing. Then after that they would ignore me as I wakled up to assasinate them, then after they died they'd stand up again and continue to ignore me as I killed them again.
Good times.
Has anyone actually found anything in the city as Desmond yet? _________________

There's four or five items from Ezio's time (such as Mario's sword) you can find hidden around the city as Desmond. They do nothing whatsoever, except an achievement when you find the first one. As far as I know this is all you can do as Desmond
Why, oh why, is he too much of a pansy to steal a motorbike. C'mooooon! _________________

No glitches for me so far ... but I'm not very far at all. I've just met up with the "wolves", if you know what I mean.
The synchronizing is going to cause me a lot of grief, I believe. I mean, it says not to lose any health, but I'm not entirely sure how I can do that, especially outnumbered like that, but especially when you've committed to an attack and you can't actually dodge anything ... to my knowledge. _________________

Can't say I'm a fan of the Synchronizing this time around, "You won't get 100% because you fell in the water..." _________________

Some are a bit silly (the water one was easy though). I suspect the ones I am going to struggle with is finishing the tombs within 8 minutes. There's one where you have to infiltrate an area undetected for 100% which is cool because you actually have to use stealth.

I've only found two things so far.

Was that the castle when you are rescuing katalina? I was doing it great up untill the Guard infront of her fucking cage. And he caught me. The verry last one after about 45 minutes of sneaking around. _________________

You have to use stealth a lot in Brotherhood, more than any other AC by far. All the Leonardo missions require you to go undetected. _________________

It pretty much is the main story arc.
If you want to pick up AC 3 you're going to be missing a fairly hefty chunk of whats happening without this game. _________________

Am I the only one who jumped straight into multiplayer. I figure it may die out if I wait too long since you don't shoot people in the face, and the single player aint going no where.
SO far it takes a while to find a game but once in you can rematch and most people usually do. I thought it was a bit of luck at first, and it kinda is, but after a while I started realising that its really fun.
I love hiding and blending in to fool people. The weird thing is there is no real punishment for dying.
Worst thing about it so far is that so many people run around on rooftops instead of trying to play stealthy. The problem with this is even if they are easily spotted and killed you usually do not get a high score since you are usually chancing them on rooftops. Getting 100 points is nothing when a stealth kill can get you much more than 500 points every time.
I seem to seem to be winning matches and doing well because I get such high scores per kill compared to others who may get more kills, but end up losing cause they are pretty much doing it wrong.
I did not read the whole thread. Anyone else doing multi? Its a good change of pace from BO _________________

That's the one. I got the first one (sneaking in), but was detected the second time (sneaking out). I picked her up and started walking out the way I came and there was a guard right there.

I played a round of Multiplayer, I started off winning it, getting the second and third kills relatively stealthy. then i died, then i spawned right in front of someone that was hunting me (or someone who killed me for the sake of it). Never really recovered from that, finished fifth in all. Had what the boys over at Penny Arcade have mentioned happened, with a bit of a pile on. _________________
