To some people, yes.

It's more the fact that Nintendo are putting such little effort into this game, though.

Adding 60hz would literally take one programmer a day, if that.

No 60hz means no preorder and perhaps no buy at all depending on how tight the wallet is in December. What's the point of re-releasing (and supposedly honouring) classic games and then not allowing the option of them looking like and playing at the speed they were intended.

I think the price is still good (especially if you don't have the games) but I starting to think the money is probably better put toward the new Donkey Kong game. I can play the 50hz version of Allstars for free on my SNES with SMW thrown in for good measure.

Basically this should be a VC game @ 800 points or roughly $12. I think it's just a copy and dump of the ROM with the emulator running. But they are charing $50 for it.

Why couldn't they add 480i/p support for this? What a joke. Do they really think people LIKE this sort of thing?

That's the ONE thing that annoys me about the VC on the Wii. It needs to support widescreen displays or hell, EVEN 480p! It's so annoying to have to change the monitor to 4:3 whenyou play a game.

They could EASILY update this even now. Just patch the emulator to support this.

Anyway, I'm passing this now. What a rip.

For $30, I dont really care if it's 50Hz, getting it for the nostalgia.

I've got it on modded SNES with a 60Hz switch and the best controller anyway!

I personally couldn't care less about your 480p's or 60Hz's.

I don't even know the difference between 50Hz and 60Hz anyway so I doubt I'd ever notice it. I try not to care too much about the technicalities of whatever it is I am playing or watching. It makes things more enjoyable. But I guess that's just me.

Well if you have a 4:3 CRT monitor that's great.

But if you have a 46 inch LCD HD TV, yeah, it kind of looks shit.
