Hi guys
So I've noticed even when my xbox (new slim) is powered off (but still plugged into the wall) still connects to my wireless router. Is this normal and like some Wii 24/7 type thing? Can it be turned off?
And Xbox originals... do they upscale well/at all?
Cheers!

I played the original Splinter Cell on a 1080P monitor once, it didn't upsacel at all, huge black borders and was extremely blurry. But playing it on our TV at 480P it was playable, haven't tried it since getting VGA cables and 720P though.

Ah ok then. Was gonna grab JSRF, might give it a miss then.
And ignore the first question... I just noticed it takes about 10 mins to de-register on my router. Dunno why, everything else is instant. _________________ My YouTube game videos!

I wouldn't reccomend JSRF, I've got it and it looks fine enough, but the emulation for it is shitty, the later levels are almost unplayable with it running at 3 frames a second. _________________

Upscale is pretty descent in games and works with component or HDMI. However with DVD movies you need HDMI.

I've been playing JSRF on my Xbox 360. It looks really good for an Xbox game but it's only in 4:3 so you have these black borders on each side. It's still a really crisp image though, it looks far better than most Wii games. The only other issue I had with JSRF in particular is that there is a lot of slowdown but you get used it after a while. Awesome game.
