I'm assuming you're meeting in person?
Well, FWIW, you should check the see whether the PS3 works on both HDMI or Component. Chances are, at least one will work, and Component can produce a full 1080p signal just like HDMI. Check before you buy, of course. _________________

Sounds like a scam, or at least a deal someone is going to end up unhappy with. _________________

What Esposch just said made me think of something. If you can see the PS3 on, try resetting the video. Could just be that he had it hooked up via HDMI and doesn't know how to get it back to working with AV.

I am meeting them in person if I go ahead with the trade ...
The person sounds honestly very young , I think it could be something simple but I could be very wrong ... There is also sound if that makes any difference.
I really have not used for my Iphone 3 as I dont like Iphones that much in the first place but it will be dumb trading it for a broken PS3 and les valued phone.
Thanks |
Sounds like a dodgy HDMI port TBH. Easily fixed by just using component cables. Although the deal isn't that great as is; try to get him to chuck in a game or two! _________________
