So, um, yeah. During my current playthrough (as a woman), I decided to get married to another woman and had sex with her for the lolz. So yeah, my question now is, WHY AND HOW THE HELL DID WE HAVE A BABY? Is there something that the game isn't telling me here? =P
It was the villager that I created on the Fable website, and she was bisexual, if they had anything to do with a possible glitch. Very weird indeed. _________________

I've bet twice, both times on The Avenger, won both times.

Check the results board next to the betting table, you can get a good feel for who is likely to win based off the previous races. _________________

Couple of things I rekon I should point out.
I love the leader board stuff in it. Seeing little pop ups in the side showing how many ranged kills I've made compared to other people or how much property worth I have compared to other people on my friends list is brilliant.
Secondly I know there's been a lot of detractors of the simplified combat. Feel I should point out my girlfriend loves it though. She's not exactly a video game new comer or anything we played through both the gears of war games together on co-op. But she's really enjoying the simplified combat compared to the last game.
It can feel a bit simplistic to me but to be honest, I spend far more time running around towns talking with people and managing property in fable games then I do in combat. _________________

Yeah, I'm sure that I'm losing gamer cred just by typing this, but I really enjoy the combat system. It's simple, but it's put together well and it looks damned stylish in motion.
They really have the animation blending between melee attacks and such down pat, it's quite impressive. _________________

one thing I've been meaning to ask, is there actually a reason to use the hero weapons? All the bought weapons seem to have way better stats? I know the hero weapons look different the more I use them but do they actually get better stats?
Also I've learnt I should not be put in charge of naming weapons when there is no censorship on what you can call them. _________________

Yeah, I don't know - it really irks me that the Hero weapons have their upgrade reqs. hidden, when they also have teh lowest stats. The first thing i did though, was rename the hammer I was using tp 'Haughty Bastard'. It's a nice touch, but the fact that it's necessary shows how weak their 'evolving weapons' system is.
Glad I got the Inquisitor DLC with my col. ed. though - best looking weapon yet. _________________

I ended up with Hammers hammer. It looks pretty much exactly like the hero one you get. Also I got the free weapons pack and couldn't actually find the free weapons?
I rekon the idea of having a store in the game that sells the DLC is pretty cool, but jesus christ if John Cleese doesn't shut up about that fucking dog suit soon I'm going to throttle him. _________________

Must be. 'Donate' him to the orphanage, perhaps? Or just take him out back and give him the 'Horse Doctor' treatment
OH! So, what the hell are Evil Creatures? I've got a few weapons that call for 'X many Evil Creatures killed' and those bars have hardly moved. Actually, the Bonesmasher (assuming others have it) was equipped while I slew ****loads of Hollow Men, and that req. meter has barely budged either - not impressed about that one. Le Sigh. _________________

These evil creatures, if I'm assuming correctly, will appear later in the game. It's story related so I don't want to give away too much. _________________

Ended up divorcing my wife so I could marry a chick in the game. Not a fan of the splitting all my profits thing.
I've also managed to buy out all of Bright wall, Bowerstone industrial, The Dwellers Camp, and Silverpine. I'm working on bowerstone market now. _________________

Well my goal at the moment is to own everything I can buy before I actually become king. I've only got old town and the place with revers house left I think. _________________

Beat it just then.... gotta say im pretty disappointed with the sudden ending. There was so much build up to the epic battle that was coming at the end, and it was over in less than 3 minutes? What about all the protecting of Albion? I was hoping for a good hour or so of warfare, that saw your choices as King effect the outcome, ie the military base in Aurora etc.
Oh well, I went into this knowing Fable 3 was going to be a 'fun' game just like the others in the series and thats what I got.
I'd give fable 3 an 8/10 I think Fable 1 and 2 both eclipse 3's story. _________________ http://bencadphotography.com/

Yeah, I didn't think that the story in Fable 3 was as solid as what was presented with the first two games, but I most certainly had more fun in Fable 3 than what i've had in TLC and 2. Things like spell weaving, huge variety in side quests and actually having a final boss battle really put the icing on the cake for me. The only exception was having to "repair" houses. That was just boring, unnecessary and tedious. _________________

I am done with Fable on console until someone pulls their finger out and fixes this broken mess.
Serioulsy, such a great game is in there. Why cant a first/second party developer iron out all the problems from II? Important ones like; framerate, gamebreaking bugs, lag, glitches and just general mess?
If this game were polished, with the UI/story/layout and gameplay all working it would be stellar. As it is, it stinks. I expect more.
Hopefully a PC version down the track can fix this. _________________

One thing I don't understand, is somehow they managed to fuck up the ginger bread crumb thing even more then the last game. I mean in fable 2 sometimes I would outrun it and it would take a second to update wich was kinda irritating but nothing major. I've spent 15-20 minutes wandering around in Fable 3 with no fucking clue were to go cause the ginger bread trail just completely fucking dissapears on me though.
How do you manage to make something so much worse in a sequel that was basically fine in the last game? _________________

It was rushed for a pre-Christmas release?
Most of the shitty bugs in any game come from the fact that devs are forced to ship out an unfinished product to meet a deadline. I guarantee you, any problem you have with the game, they knew about pre-release, but didn't have time to fix.
But until game bugs are treated as game breaking - that is, universally slammed by critics for being an undue annoyance (hopefully giving any game with obvious bugs in it an instant lowest score as an unfinished product), nothing will be done. Everyone these days has accepted a certain level of bugginess as standard; We expect imperfections in the finished product, while we don't tolerate it in other mediums. If you accidentally saw a mic boom or a bit of the 'curtain' slip away during a movie or tv show, it would be s***canned as unfinished and unprofessional, so why do we accept these unnecessary imperfections in games? I'd hazard a guess and say it has to do with the history of game development, but I'm sure film went through a similar period, with each generation becoming better and better at hiding the 'stage' from the audience and keeping up the fourth wall...
TL;DR: Bugs are in games because we take it with a smile and keep paying for them. Games are for profit, and the margin on hard work is low, while cheap thrills make for full coffers. _________________

Gotta disagree with this, you do accept it in movies. There is a goofs page listed on every movie on IMDB that lists the cock ups. Be they plot holes or technical goofs. Does anyone let the fact that one of the Romans is wearing a wrist watch get in the way of enjoying gladiator? Or the fact that you can see a van in the background in a shot of Braveheart? No you just accept the fact that mistakes happen and let it go.
Some mistakes are acceptable, the fuck ups in fable 3 though are like one of the actors being smacked in the face with the boom mike. _________________
