Well I preordered it from 365games.co.uk for $60 which is pretty badass, free shipping too. Though with shipping delay i may not have it till a week or 2 after official release but hey, 30 bucks cheaper than anywhere else

I think smurr is referring to how long it takes to arrive after being sent. 1-2 weeks usually.
Not that the release or ship date has been delayed.

none of the bigw/kmart stores near me stock PC games, well.. at least i dont think they do..

If you can purchase from US steam shop front(VPN/Proxy/i don't know  ), with the exchange rate being good, it's basically $60-$62. Stupid Activision regional pricing(Australia generally pays $20US more than the US)
Can start pre-loading now as well.

JB *should* have it for $79. So if you can get to one of the stores on the friends and family night then you get 20% off that which brings it down to $64.

Possibly but starcraft was really cheap like $64 before discount. Also Starcraft 2 is a way bigger release than COD Black Ops. I don't recall MW2 selling out anywhere near my local area.

Is there any other conditions? I know at Harveys the price beat thing is a bit of a process to get through. You need to have bought the product first THEN find a cheaper price to get a refund.
Whats the price of normal ed on pc anyway?

Just looking at that pic A13x posted, i noticed one thing:
Number of PC Copies: 4
Number of X360/PS3 Copies: 8-10 per console.
Basically, PC version is gonna be of lower stock than Console versions (Well, CoD has become a console franchise rather than a PC franchise like it was way back when).
So my earlier point of JB having any copies left when that sale is on(The day after Black Ops releases) being 0 would still be most likely.

My friend ordered it at the local DSE, the salesman said he wouldn't give the usb since it was supposed to be console hardened eds only. However my friend was able to talk to the manager who just got back from lunch and the manager said it was fine.
I'll go ahead and put an order in tomorrow. whooo!
