Heh... just discovered the 'Windowed (Fullscreen)' option in settings. I can now alt-tab and see the game while still having it cover the whole screen. I may never log out again! _________________

Only just started playing sc2 again for the 1st time in ~ 1 month the other day. I'm so freaking terrible now.
Build order? WHAT build order? _________________

Oh .. just been playing around with the US servers, found some amazing mods out there . Found a YABOT single player mod. That set build order goals and times you. Very cool mod. Only way to view the mod is to create a US login. _________________

Is it just YABOT or somehow modified from this which you can download and run on any account? _________________

Warning though, uses a shit ton more resources when alt tabbed than when you're alt tabbed from regular full screen.
While I am using it, I'm trying not to leave it running all the time as it'd just make my room hot and waste electricity.
EDIT: Actually turning V-Sync on lowers the resource usage in menus significantly so if you're doing this it'd be a good idea to turn that on. _________________

Yeah that look like it .. I didn't have load copy anything to my computer to get it to run though . Mods are region specific so you have to create a US account first then go to join custom game and search with the following settings
Melee , 1v1 , All
I downloaded the "YABOT - blistering sands" mod created by Ben McIntosh. If you scroll further down the list he has another two mods in the single player category with different maps. _________________

GGs last night Kurupt!
Was it bad manners on my part to take all of the spare bases on our half of the map in that 3v3 game? (including your starting point) Jaybro complained about it to me this morning =P _________________

Only when it's 1v1 or an opponent is likely to expand there. I try not to creep on my allies' expansion points. Unless of course I'm putting a hatchery there =) _________________

At the end I was like "Fuck, there's nowhere to expand to. Then luckily the game ended.
Great work on your part to keeps us in there and win them.

So, in an attempt to get better at both micro and macro, I have just started to go mass stalkers. They can attack ground and air, and once they get blink, they're damn awesome. Won most of the games just going 2 gate, 4 gate, 8 gate, 12 gate.

I don't think that will really improve your micro much, regular zealot + stalker takes more micro and is far more effective, especially if you throw a couple sentries into the mix. If you really want to improve I think you need attempting economical robo/stargate builds and early expanding and adjusting the build depending on how cheesy/aggressive the opponent is playing. It's much harder but if you look at higher ranked players, it pays off in the long run. _________________

Started playing again after taking a break. Won 3 in a row, lost 3 in a row. I know where I lose, just can't quite scout properly yet.
Also, rage hard when a turret is looking at cloaked banshees killing all my scvs. Rage so hard.

Where were your marines?
I'm happy to report ZvZ is now no longer a rush fest. Played 3 games of it tonight and they were all quite varied. Fast expands, roaches, mutas, hydras, speedlings... saw quite a lot. Still none got past T2 but that's not really unusual for Z games. _________________

The mass stalker tactic worked for a bit, but I found about 60/40 zea stalk early, then 90/10 stalks with cols/pheonix seemed to work better.
Also, every day i seem to own one or two races, then get dominated by the 3rd. Today it's Protoss. I always forget to tech so my guys are still on level 1 by midgame.
Then there's the games where I tech early and just just out masses me.

Just started on the 4v4 matches with some mates. I find it extremely difficult playing Protoss on the maps especially when you're not in the central positions.
Does anyone have any tips for expanding? Or should I just go for that early grab? Because generally I hold off to at least setup a stalker defence. _________________ Playing: Fallout: New Vegas

Generally you expand when you push out which is easier if you are playing with friends rather than randoms.
