Nearly 15 million sales in the first year worldwide say differently. |
That's not that good. Definitely not a "failure," but not a roaring success either. |
Which is why Admeister's stat is a valid objection? _________________

Missing out by one in the first 4 bet on the Melbourne Cup.
Then omitting on of the 5 boxed horses that I had for the first 4 in the trifecta and it coming first!
Effectively meaning I missed out by one horse with each bet!

Yeah, I know. But 100% of those good games don't support Kinect, making it useless. |
Useless if you buy it so why would you buy it if you're not interested in the games?
Sorry I'm at a loss as to how people can get upset over a completely optional add on? All the games on the Eyetoy on the PS2 sucked arse as well, it didn't ruin the PS2 though.

Well true but I was talking more in response to the specific comment mick made

I really don't see how drunken stupid motion games on the wii at 4am is cool, but drunken stupid motion games on kinnect at 4am is some how an entirely offensive prospect? |
Oh good lord I’ve started one of those back forth things.
Teach me for taking a drunken stab at games on a games forum.
My point is literally as Jarrod put it. Its getting to the point of a Rod and Todd imagination Christmas.
If I am going to have to use the same amount of energy to do something virtually as I would in real life. I would much prefer to do it in real life.
My getting home from the pub analogy was tongue in cheek. I’m not actually offended by the notion – I’m just having a bit of a go.
I don’t know, I understand there will be a lot of great and probably fun games for it down the track. I just think (and this is my personal opinion – subject to change) that when faced with the option of using my whole body to do something – I would much prefer to do it outside of my lounge.
Note: I am in no way angry, upset, annoyed or in any way put out by this thing. My post was for the better part – jest. Take my opinions on gaming less seriously in the future.

Here's what I like about Kinect...
When the Wii first came out, there were reports of people launching their remotes at expensive TV screens, sometimes due to faulty wriststraps, sometimes due to stupidity.
With Kinect, you are the controller, so I expect reports of people flying headlong into TV screens within days of launch. Fearing lawsuits, Microsoft will release their own wriststrap, which tethers you to the largest available piece of funiture in the room.
Kinect injuries could be pretty damn amusing, if you ask me. I mean, just think of the possibilities, especially if you have a ceiling fan or pets who like to get underfoot.

Dude go back in and tell them and bring a catalogue with the price if possible, DSE's price matching policy means that if you find it for a better price within 14 days they'll refund the difference enjoy your 50 bucks mate.
Source: I work at a DSE
Edit: It does have to be the exact one though, down to the colour and everything just thought I'd add that ^.^; _________________

I go into 3 to start a new contract with a shiny new N8 only to find out it's not available through 3...
I can get it through Vodaphone though. So effectively I can't get it off one wall, but I could to the OTHER side of the store and get it off the other wall.
WTF.
I could switch to Voda, but then I'd have to pay out my 3 Contract. Because although they're merged clearly they aren't the same company... even though they are.
WTF.
Suffice to say I told them, in a much politer way mind you, to go **** themselves. Looks like I'll be snapping one up from Allphones for $650 sometime in the future.

So I was watching the US midterm elections coverage, which ticked me off quite a bit, causing minor ragefit and resulting in me spontaneously ranting on Reddit..
I think I pissed off a lot of Americans.. though I did smile (wrong thread, I know!) when my sister, a casual Redditor, came across it and posted it on my Facebook wall. _________________

High five and upboats for Reddit, it has replaced PALGN somewhat, hence me not posting here... for like 9 months. Although I'm sure the only difference it's made to the PALGN community is a noted decrease in Grammar Nazism since I left.

I'd take a look at the stuff Obama is actually doing, shit worse then anything Bush did.
This is a man that came in to power promising to bring back justice and and legality to the whole Guantanamo bay thing and yet his government has declared that even if found innocent prisoners will still be held as long as they want, they've locked up 15 yearolds while completely ignoring the Geneva Convention etc.
Bush was Incompetent. Obama is evil and charismatic. Thats much much worse if you ask me. _________________

Today it's like I've swallowed an idiot magnet and every moron within a 1000km radius is being drawn to me in a zombie like horde.
I really find it difficult to fathom how stupid some people are. Then, when their own stupidity screws them over, they go shuffling off, seeking someone else to blame.
