this game isnt as bad as ppl are making out. If you do the dark side ending it does not necessarily elude to there being a 3rd game, it does however make sense in terms of the way the movies play out. Oh and Starkiller can pull down a star destroyer because he is a hybrid of a Jedi and Sith, and im pretty sure the dark side is more powerful than the light side.

I'm struggling to recall at any point in the movies where Yoda was confronted with a Star Destroyer to pull down, and also struggling to recall at any point in the movies where he contradicted his statement of "Size matters not."
Wonky mythology is wonky. You'd think having more midichlorophyll in your blood would help, but Yoda reckons otherwise. _________________

He did smash a whole bunch of droid ships together. He probbably could pull down a star destroyer if he liked. _________________

Fine fine, we'll play the "Who knows more bullshit obscure star wars trivia" game.
A: Force powers aren't dictated by which side you choose, it's how force sensitive the person using them is. The difference comes from how they manipulate the force (Dark side forces it and bends it to there will, light side basically convinces it to do what they want)
B: The power of the force varies greatly depending on rule of cool and who is writing at the time. From the first trilogy were a kid with no real training can lift an x-wing. To the prequels were the extent of the force powers of trained jedi knights is knocking over a few robots, to the Gendy Tartavosky cartoons were Mace Windu rips apart an entire droid battalion, then uses the parts of them as a shrapnel bomb to wipe out even more. Basically how strong the force is at any one time is completely dependent on who's writing the story.
C: The guys making the game have pretty much stated they did the star destroyer thing cause it looked cool and then thought of a way to make it into the game. With the way it turned out in the game I think we can assume the planning that went into it was pretty minimal.
Conclusion: Starkiller can rip a star destroyer out of the sky cause it looks cool. That's pretty much the extent of it. _________________

This thread just became really weird. I suppose bickering over the arbitrary rules of a fictional universe is more interesting than the blah-ness of The Force Unleashed II.

Star Wars is serious business man. But we should be right as long as we don't get into the "Could a Jedi beat Superman" fight... I've seen that before.
It gets... unpleasant... _________________

Anything after the Sajian saga of Z I'd probably give to Goku just on speed. He's pretty much at the point were he could take them out before they even see him.
... this may be the geekiest conversation I've ever had...
The act of writing this post has made me grow a neckbeard. _________________

Here's a kicker for you, if a Jedi is fighting against superman, is the force magic (Which he is weak too) or is it telekinesis (Which he could resist) _________________

My copy arrived today, and I'm giving it a go now.
It's fun and I'm really enjoying it. Just as much as the first one. I'm cutting up stormtroopers with my lightsabers, force pushing and pulling (teehee) and convince guys to jump off the edge of things.
It's hella fun.

I should point out that Starkiller's dilemma and arc is very closely comparable to Shadow the Hedgehog's arc in Sonic Heroes and Shadow the Hedgehog, what with the whole 'is he the original or isn't he, he probably is, it doesn't matter.'
The fact that I'm able to compare this game at all to Shadow the Hedgehog does not say much about it. It's all a bit poo really. _________________
