No combo videos here lol. Yeah you can redo boss fights once you've collected the scrolls for the battles afterwards.

Well im only starting to go to the sand for the rescue in chapter one. I think I should play it a bit more since I am sucking online big time. im like 3/11 or something sad like that. I was pretty much learning the game playing pros and realised maybe I should use the block button haha.
Getting the hang of it now. It is a bit annoying on the 360. Finding a game that connects takes a long time, however I have not had any lag in any matches really

Bah still haven't got my copy yet - why did i preorder it online rather then pick it up from jb myself? WHY?
Anyway - IGN gave it a 8.0, saying that while the Adventure mode was good, pointless side missions and needless requirements to repeat battles and unlock characters held it back.

IGN reviewer not a naruto fan or a fighting game fan. How do they choose these reviewers?
Review is pretty good though. Only thing I would disagree with is lasting appeal. Should have gotten more than 7.5

I would like to randomly point out that I fail when going online and searching for matches, as the reason I had EPIC LAG was because I chose someone with no connection bars, since they were the only one online and I didn't know there were different connection levels at that point... >_>
Finished Chapter 1. Enjoying the game a lot more now, but still not too excited about running up and down to get to points. But whatever, story is still keeping me going, even though I've already read most of the games story in my many Naruto manga volumes (I can't read online, seems wrong somehow. Fail, I know)
I find all the fights too easy though. Guess I should try Expert or whatever instead of hard...

The first few fights are piss easy, then battles become more interesting once the AI actually starts blocking.

haha Its good to know it gets more difficult. I am not sure if you can change the difficulty for the story mode actually. I heard the doll fights are hard as well later on.
I think the fighting is kinda deep in a way. If not than every match could be an even fight, yet there are obviously people who are better than others.
Compared to tekken, sf, and blazblue espicially I can see how you would laugh at the deep comment, but compared to anime games its not bad

Forget the dolls, the 10 trials after them are nasty!  5/10 fights down so far.
I've almost finished the story mode completely, I have a trophy guide in the works.

I've just started chapter 4. Chapter 3 SUCKED. Hidan was not treated as a major character and just glossed over. Felt betrayed. Kakuzu was a minor character was far I was concerned and that battle sucked anyway. Chapter 2 was much better.
The game is a complete fan service though. I tend to agree with the review scores of 7-8/10 and +1 for a fan. It certainly has it's problems but in general a highly enjoyable game with jaw dropping set pieces that make theanime like stupid. It's just a pity the didn't do one of them for Hidan!!!!!
I don't care though. Most of the time I love it and it's worth getting to the end of a chapter to see the boss fight set peices, they are just so awesome.

I just finished chapter 1. I think I am expecting boss fights all the time cause they are so awesome. After the sakura vs sasori I thought that there would be a Kakashi vs Deidra boss fight. Instead Naruto fought him instead?
Oh well loved chapter 1. I Hidan was an awesome character and that sucks really bad that they didn't do chapter 3 justice. At least I won't be expecting much.
Got my 4th win online haha all 4 with sasuke. Don't think I have lost with him. think Ill stick to him for now

I've put some solid hours into the game, I've completely finished the story mode. I have 89% of the trophies. I'd say that getting the Platinum would be easy, but getting all the titles is a real challenge!

It's more of a grind, but it's one heck of a grind! I'd say that just getting all the titles will take around 20 hours. Fun. There's no titles for winning battles in a row online (fortunately).
