That competition sounds incredibly tempting to enter, I wouldn't buy it at 300 dollars but that prize is pretty good.

Makes me wonder if it was ready to be released at all. Im over all the waiting. its the same comment over and over again. if this GT doesnt blow my mind in every aspect im giving in altogether. I have a feeling this is going to be another Chinese Democracy.....

This sounds like a bull**** marketing stunt by Sony to dominate the Christmas scene. Don't think there IS a release as anticipated as GT5-- I bet the rest of the Christmas calendar this year is looking pretty grim, so they've pushed it back to put something on the board.

Sony would want this game out by November, busiest time of the year for retailers. This is a system seller - always has been. Think of all the additional hardware and accessories Sony is missing out on. Granted it's the type of game that will sell well whenever it's released, but a big title in December/January is genuinely a big no-no.
Baffling decision IMO.

What the bloody hell!? With all the Limited Edition bundles and even console for GT5 in the works, I thought that would be the last of the delays, but I was dead wrong. They say holiday season, but the website for USA's Gamestop says its updated release date is 1/1/11

I don't know how it will exceed expectations. Maybe it comes out? The weird thing is I really liked Prologue. If they just released that with more cars and more tracks I would be happy. I have no need for this 3D stuff and dynamic weather and go karts.
