I could see it working for those who simply cannot leave their MMO's all day without checking on them, as well as insisting on having a job. But really, most people who would be in the market for something like this are probably more likely to pick up a laptop.

The 3DO was quite a neat system. Issues surrounding it included price (even more than PS3 launch price) and software support from 3rd parties.

This looks spectacular...
...ly crap. It's not targeted towards me—a person with complete aversion to online gaming—so I can't complain too much, but just the design looks hideous.

I'm sure it has something to make up for it (Trackball maybe)
And my comment was mainly aimed at all the people going on about how ugly it is. It just looks like a portable dvd player to me. I mean yeah it's not the best looking thing around but it's miles ahead of something like the DS phat.
