played it on the PC were despite my pc being way more powerfull then it needed could barley run any scene with water due to a problem with the NVIDIA graphics card and the game.
Still a great game. _________________

Ooooooooh! This is one game I really wanted to play but never got around to. Will they be making a PC port do you think? If not I'll just grab from PSN.. but would prefer PC. _________________

My PC version works almost perfectly when I turn off the game's anti-aliasing (I think I can force it through my graphics card drivers anyway). And with Pinnacle Game Profiler it maps perfectly to a 360 controller.
Yet I will so totally buy this. A remastered soundtrack is worth the entry fee alone, and I'll never pass up the opportunity to tell Ubisoft that yes I do want BG&E2. _________________

Can't wait. It's nice seeing quality games like this one getting the HD treatment and being released over XBLA and PSN.

Friggin awesome! I have this game on PC but prefer to play these types of games on a console so never finished it (but absolutely loved what I played of it). I'm praying the wait isn't too long!! Now I just have to decide which console to get it on...

Awesome, hopefully this and the reboots from team ICO sell really well and will encourage more classic reboots from underappreciated games. The hell with new IP!

Sooo.. any word on the release date for this yet? I've been checking the PSN store every few days in anticipation... _________________

I think the original PC version is the same as this remake because from screenshots it looks exactly the same and the original can already go to HD resolutions... So just pick up the original for PC and save some money (:
I think the only thing you will be missing out on is the remastered sountrack! _________________

After the utter disappointment that was Prince of Persia HD, my anticipation for this is all but gone.
I'll wait to see if Ubisoft have done a better job with this... I'm not optimistic. _________________

I meant Sands of Time HD. They 'remastered' it for the PSN like they're doing with Beyond Good and Evil. It was apparently a train wreck, hence the trepidation. _________________

I played the game once but I cannot imagine playing it again for the second time :S
Didn't know it sold that well to get a HD version, I thought it struggled to sell :S _________________ "Work hard now, play even harder later"

It didn't sell well, it bombed financially but has become a massive cult game since. _________________

Oh, yeah. I already have this on my to-buy list. Though I already own the original game for PS2, this game really had a lot of stuff to do, so I'm guessing this HD-remake will have a nice list of interesting trophies/achievements (rather than silly ones such as "make 50 siderolls", "jump over that rock 20 times", "spend more than 60 hours playing our 30-hours-long game"). And this game already had a great soundtrack, so a remastered version should be just another plus.
Planning to get this one for sure.

When I first played this game I enjoyed it, but it was nowhere near my level of expectation (Mainly because people were hyping it as the best game in years), but I'm willing to play it again and see if I missed the magic the first time around.
