I doubt Case West or Case Zero count as DLC material and likely wouldn't be included in a Gold Edition.
With that said Case Zero is more like Fables Pub Games for Dead Rising. I enjoyed it though; and would like to see what happens in Case West.

What he's saying is that these aren't DLC for Dead Rising 2, they're stand alone. So it's unlikely they'll be included in a "Gold Edition" of DR2.

It's not impossible mind you, but I'd say it ain't going to happen.

Certainly an unusual move, but I'm not complaining.

With Case Zero and Case West, is there a need to buy Dead Rising 2?

If all you want to do is mindlessly kill zombies, then probably not. Some people may like to follow the storyline, however.

Not an unusual move considering the success of Case Zero, as long as Capcom can "Activision" or "EA" more money out of people they'll do it

Just like Case Zero, Case West will be a downloadable title, exclusively for the Xbox 360.

Boooo.... They're really not doing much to court the PS3 users now are they?

Edit: PC users too - forgot it was actually coming to PC

Dead Rising 1 was 360 exclusive, Dead Rising 2 is 360/PS3/PC.
