Is anyone else here into building Gundam models?

I've actually been on a 8 month break from it, waiting for winter to finish since I have to do my painting outside.

I just thought I'd show some of my works here. There more pics on my blog.

Wing Zero Custom

God Gundam

Strike Freedom Gundam

Please share your works too icon_smile.gif

Cool another Gunpla builder around these boards - and a pretty skilled one at that! Love the kits you have built - nice and clean!

For all my stuff, see my site :

http://www.ghostofzeon.com/

I do Dinosaur kits as well as Gundam / Mecha stuff.

Will you be going to Sydney in August for Bakuc? I've booked everything and will be driving up a few days before.

And do you know that there is a Mech model club in Melbourne? If you want, I can provide you with some details to get in contact with the club (that is if you aren't a part of it already - I'm not as I live a couple of hours away from Melbourne). Let me know.

Yeah I'd love to know the details. Your works are awesome man, you have a great attention to detail that I lack. I'm still pretty noob in terms of basic skills, I haven't tried weathering or modding etc before.

As for BakaUC, probably won't be going as I have too much going on and not enough time for modelling.

Could we exchange links for blogrolls?

That's a very cool God Gundam, ShinMusa! I've been eyeing that particular kit as well, but I haven't quite gotten down to buying it yet.

Does anyone have plans to get the Real Grade RX-78? I'm waiting on the re-issue, since I missed out on the first round.

As for my personal creations, I've got to say that I'm not as great as any of you. I've only just started learning how to paint and to get down to the finer details of making a model. Oh well, practise (and money) makes perfect!

I'll try and get some pictures up of the last couple of Gunpla I made at some point soon icon_smile.gif

I'll be getting the RG Gundam at some point. I'm excited about the RG line as they are supposed to pack as much detail as a 1/100 MG into a 1/144 sized kit - including an internal frame!

BAKUC Australia is nearly upon us too. I'll be heading up to Sydney on the Thursday so I can drop my kits off on the Friday (it's a 12 hour drive for me! Yay!).

Anyone else going to BAKUC?

Last weekend, Australia held it's very first BAKUC event! It was a great day and I even managed to snare 2nd Place in the open expert category for my Zaku vs GM battle scene and 1st in the SD Category with my oldy, the Char Custom Z'Gok!

Click the link below for a full report, including photo gallery and video of the event :

For a first time event, there was a huge turn out and everything on display was impressive. Can't wait until next year!!
