Nice comp. The game looks great.
Pity the special edition is so weak! Do they really think people will shell out an extra 20 bucks for a paper map, some stills from the game and a short CD?

Thanks for the welcome mate!
My point is that 2k have a massive game world in Mafia 2 to draw inspiration form to form a special edition. How about a character figurine or some awesome packaging in the shape of a tommy gun or a fedora or something?
I love a good collectors edition but this one seems to be a little bit limp...

I wouldn't mind winning the PS3 version even though I already have it (pre-ordered) for PC.. mainly because it was an option I was considering right from the very start.. definitely wouldn't say no to a free copy

I love the fact the CD resembles a record. That's awesome sauce right there - would love to have an actual record though - maybe a fan project worthy of consideration.
Pumped for the game - I only played a bit of the original and foolishly let the cars' tendency to not make the top of the hill / their handling turn me off. Was younger and less patient then. While I was able to immerse myself for hours in adventure games, when it came to action themed games, the smallest of annoyances had me pretty much turned off. :-/
Will definitely source the original though and it sounds like the score was great for that too - did it get a release on CD?
I'm writing and directing a film noir about a nightclub singer turned Mafia witness so I call this gaming for productivity purposes
