I think the manga has been pretty interesting really, we've got some great backstory going on.

Got the demo yesterday on xbox live Japanese account. I had not played the first one since I don't usually play the Ps3, but must say the fighting and graphics are much better than rise of ninja and broken bond which i was expecting.

It was kinda strange since this felt like a boss from a zelda game which we know is an adventure game not a fighter. I don't think I have ever thought a better boss in a fighting game before. Can't wait for this especially since i was late to naruto and just got up to date after watching the anime from the start in the last couple months.

Good news guys, the word has just come in from Namco Bandai about the Australian release date for the game: October 15th!

There will also be a collector's edition with some extra goodies:

The highlight of the Collector's Edition is an individually numbered Laser Cell artwork featuring an original illustration of "Hokage-Naruto" drawn by the creator of Naruto himself, Masashi Kishimoto, to mark the 10th anniversary of the series' first appearance in Shonen Jump magazine. Any idea where to preorder this from (Collectors Edition). Only the game website seems to have a listing for this (in terms of Aussie retailers) and the listing is a little... thin on details:

I'm not sure where to get it at this point, but I'll certainly keep an eye out as the release date approaches.

Has anyone seen the first game cheap locally? I've suddenly got the urge to go buy it lol.

EB have it for $50. Kinda don't want to spend that much atm.

I'm sure I saw it as part of a sale for like $25 not too long ago - maybe the GAME one? Anyway, it seems like EB have it the cheapest locally (can't believe I'm typing that) - but you can always import a UK copy much cheaper. I'd sell you mine, but I just can't part with it. <3 Ozgameshop.com have it for $33.39 posted.

Just went to GAME this morning, they said demand was so high for Ninja Storm 2 that they have stopped pre-orders. They confirmed the release date is October 14th and there will be both a standard and collectors edition. Will keep you guys updated.

Lol what? Collectors Edition only got announced not that long ago - wouldn't have sold out or anything (I know naruto is popular - but not THAT popular)

I would imagine that it is simply not in the system yet or that in terms of the collectors edition, some store (most likely EB) is trying to get it exclusive.

Over 40 charaters!. 6 which are Pain.....

Looks pretty sweet. I don't really get into the fighting style of these games but I cannot say no to all those juicy arc battles. I want to play as Sasori and Pain!

Believe me, if it wasn't in the system he wouldn't have told me the prices nor the date for them. I'm just relaying what he said. It wont stop me from going to another GAME store and asking them as well.
