I just bought The dark knight on blu ray from david jones and the discs look like they are from overseas, is this normal or should it be different?

This sarcastic reply indicates that it is in fact totally normal and isn't information that is hidden in the deep dark recesses of the internets.

My Dark Knight only has the Aussie rating symbol and but my copy of Zodiac: Director's Cut (which also from Warner Brothers) has pretty much the same rating symbols as yours.

i bought mine at launch though at some ridiculous price compared to what it is today, before they mass produce the 'one size fits all' discs

..at the end of the day, it plays the same movie

dont worry about it , the twin pack copy i got is the same , its simply a uk copy stuffed inside a aussie case likey done by the supplier/ distriber ie warner - quite common in the case of blu rays since unless your looking at region locking or that extra facebook related intergation its not a big deal

So three ugly pastel colours defiling the disc is better?

man have we come up with a new meaning for the word pastel? Cause the rating logos don't look close to being pastel to me.

The disk looks too cluttered, and it doesnt even have the name of the movie on it.

if didnt care about the disc i would have just bought it from overseas, i bought it in store because i thought it would be an australian release.

They're really pale colours with lots of white in them.

Thinking of buying this, does anyone know whether this version has the IMAX shots integrated into the movie? The aspect ratio will change back and forth from 2.40:1 to 1.78:1 if so.

Thanks, just wanted to make sure that I'll be getting something different than the DVD version that I already have, which is 2.40:1 all the way through.
