This Dragonball Z is the new Dragonball Z movie which is going to be played by real actors.
It has been written by Tedi Sarafian(wrote Terminator: Rise of the machines.
Diected by Roland Emmerich who directed Independence day and Godzilla.
The parts will be played by:

Vegeta: Ray Park
Piccolo: Sam Wheeler
Raditz: Jason Bateman
Nappa: Bill Goldburg

Goku's outfit will be blue not orange.
I know some of you don't care for Dragonball Z but for those who do spoilers below
The movie starts on the saiyan home planet. Bardock sends Goku out in a saiyan space pod along with other saiyan children to different planets. Goku goes of-course to planet Earth. Goku lands next to a Buddhist temple. Goku's extreme strength is to much for the Budda's so they send him to Master Roshi's. Master Roshi trains Goku along side another pupil, Krillin. After 3-4 years of training they go to a martial arts tournament. In the finals Goku goes against Tien. During the match Goku transforms in an Ozaroo and attacks everyone. Krillin saves everone by destroying Goku's tail.
Later a space ship lands on Earth, it's Piccolo. Piccolo had brought the Dragonballs. Piccolo wants to conquer the planet so he hunts down the Earths strongest to kill them. Piccolo later finds out that the Earths strongest are 2 children, Goku and Krillin. They have an intense battle. Piccolo gets worried so tries to kill Goku with one blast, Krillin dives in front of the blast to protect Goku but dies in the process. Goku gets angry and grows his tail back. Then he transfromed into an Oozaroo, Piccolo finds out that Goku's tail is his weakness. Piccolo destroys Goku's tail and Goku returns to his original self. Goku is out cold. Piccolo is just about to kill Goku but Master Roshi steps in. Piccolo knows he would die if he fought Master Roshi. Master Roshi let's Piccolo go only if he leaves he Earth alone. Piccolo gives Master Roshi info on the Dragonballs and leaves. Goku wakes up and Master Roshi tells him about what happened. Goku wishes Krillin back to life with the Dragonballs.
10 years past and Goku marries a women called Chi Chi and have a son called Gohan. Another tournament is held and the final contestants are Goku, Krillin, Bulma, Yamcha, Tien, and a mystery fighter. 5 saiyan pods land in the stadium. There is another intense battle and only Raditz is left. Raditz takes Gohan away. Goku chases Raditz and the mystery fighter helps. (they can fly). The mystery fighter reveals himself to be Piccolo.
They have a fight and Piccolo kills Raditz but kills Goku in the process.
PIccolo trains Gohan for a year while Goku trains with King Kai. After a year Vegeta and NAppa arrive. Nappa kills of Tien, Yamcha and Piccolo. Gohan tries his best but fails. Goku arrives and finishes of Nappa with ease. Goku and Vegeta start fighting, Vegeta thinks he'll lose so he transforms into an Oozaroo and almost kills Goku. Gohan destroys Vegeta's tail and Gohan transforms himself. Goku get's up and weakens Vegeta. Goku le's Vegeta leave in his space ship. Everyone get all calm and the movie finishes. Spoilers Over
The movie won't be out in England for a while and i don't know about Australia.
Well, this is the longest post i have ever done and i'm NEVER doing it again unless i have to. I'm tired now so goodbye. _________________

What does your quote mean?
Yes it is the wrestler, i was sure it was spelt with a "u".
The fight scenes will be done very well, they will be same as The Matrix.
Also i have just found out that it will be shot and finished up in Australia. _________________

I don't think that any of the cast fit the characters except maybe Goldberg. _________________

Correct me if I am wrong, but they have never done something like this! So how can you say you never want to see it again? _________________

He is talking about the Anime ones. Which are genrally bad, excpet for a select few.
Thanks for the info Fazza, although the idea of Real Life DBZ movie dosn't sound real promosing, I still think there could be a slight chance this movie can be like Mortal Kombat 1. _________________

I would completely dissagree with that, because the fight scenes in The Matrix were very good at times. Also, you know that the people in Dragonball Z can fire energy waves. They will be just as good, maybe better than the beams that Cyclops did in X-men 2.

I wouldn't say that about Orlando Bloom because he got slaughtered by the press before The Lord Of The Rings and look how well he did in that. _________________

If you ask me Hollywood are into making money, this is the point in this film, to make money.
Nappa is the only half decent choice out of all the characters (seriously Alba as Bulma? WTF? That's almost as bad as casting her in Fantastic Four).
Do you mean the fights will be like in Revolutions? Or just bullet time?
My guess is I won't like it, it will gain far more commercial success than it should do, and will get slated by the critics. The more hardcore fans will also hate it (I'd hardly call myself a huge fan, but then when DBZ is good, it's great).

And this is confrimation that ILM work wont be making the CG characters, if anyone heard that rumor
| Quote: | ILM ON DBZ LIVE ACTION MOVIE by Otherworld Steve
I decided to follow up a bit more regarding the rumored live action Dragon Ball /Z movie. One persistent rumor has been that "George Lucas' CGI company ILM has signed a contract to do the special effects."
Today I called Ellen Pasternack , Public Relations for ILM. I asked her if the rumor was true; if ILM was brought on board to provide the special effects for the Dragon Ball /Z live action movie. Ms. Pasternack's reply was that it had been mentioned, but ILM never officially signed off on anything and it never came to be. She also commented that, as far as she knows, the film is not being made.
So there you have it, folks. Another death nail in the DBZ live action movie coffin. That isn't to say that the film will never be made. There are other major studios besides FOX and other effects houses aside from ILM. Who knows ... maybe Wetta will snag this property to go along with the Evangelion live action movie. Only time will tell.
Edit: I just want to clarify that a.) FUNimation Productions has absolutely nothing to do with the concept/licensing for a Dragon Ball /Z live action movie. They hold the license for the anime/games/merchandise only, and b.) this website is NOT an official FUNimation website. It is just a promotional website for Kyle Hebert and goes beyond his association with FUNimation. I hope that clears some things up.

but this is different though Fazza.
Its a cartoon to live action movie..the cartoon nearly everyone our age has seen and loved.
Some of these Live action movies from cartoons and games have been ok - take for an instance Mortal Kombat and Ninja Turtles which are old classics, im just saying even if it does have really good acting this could look damn right stupid. _________________

Hmmm.
I wouldn't have watched it either, but don't you think it's a little unfair to all the DBZ fans to wish and hope no DBZ movie comes out? I mean, if it came out, you could choose not to watch it and be happy...
Eh. _________________

That's true.
Though realistically it isn't as if the opinions of people on internet forums are going to change their minds. As such, I'm saying this for myself. I do despise the anime, after all. _________________

I'm a big fan of the whole Dragonball franchise(with the exception of DBGT) but honestly, does anybody besides me think this movie is going to bomb. They fired Akira Toriyama, the man who made this a possibility, as film consultant because he wanted to much control. The guy created the freaking show I think he would know how to translate it to keep its authentincity to some degree. Firing him was probably the first mistake that was made on this movies behalf. The next mistake is the storyline. I'm ok with Goku being raised in a temple and all that, However, I'm not ok with making Bulma, who is a TECHNICAL GENIUS(Key emphases on Technical) A fighter, are you joking? the women doesn't fight in the series all of a sudden shes a fighter, that is total crap. Another thing that bug me is Goku's uniform. The uniform will not be orange but instead it will be blue. Changing the man's uniform is like giving superman a all red out-fit without the big "S" on the chest. Last but not least, Goku might go Super-Saiyan, What the nasty name we call intercourse? Goku transforming in the first movie( AKA the Sayian Saga) for a lack of better words is total crap. I understand that they have to change things a bit so it can adapt to the big screen, but there are certain things that you should never change, things such as:
*Gokou's Uniform
*Making Bulma a Fighter
*Gokou transforming in the Saiyan Saga( His transformation is a
milestone in the serious and thus should not be changed)
I sincerely hope that this movie is good, however, my intuition tells me otherwise since their shooting for a PG-13 rating. Dragonball in its rawest form ( Not that cartoon network watered down....shaking........and watered down some more version) Is very gory and to censor it will do it no justice. Spiderman was good because they made minor changes to the story, the same with Daredevil and Batman Beginings. I can't wait to see how this all turns out and I can't wait to see the hairstyles. Another great franchise turned into Hollywood crap. A sad day for True Dragonball fans, a sad day indeed.
