I like how nothing else even bothered competing for new release sales with SC2 this week. Everyone buying games this week, should buy this game =) _________________

If you're not an RTS fan then this week is a great week to do your taxes or start that home DIY project you've been promising for a while.
For the rest, it's time to kick this revolution into overdrive (and maybe grab a pizza)

All your base will belong to ME!
Really looking forward to this. Trying to bribe EB staff to grab me a copy today so I don't need to do the midnight wait. (Still wish it was on Steam and I could have cached)
Company Of Heroes has done the distance for the years in waiting but nothing compares to Starcraft!

I find it strange that this is released at this time of year.. but maybe it is is only strange from a southern hemisphere point of view. I guess the Americans and Europeans would be having their summer holidays now..
Again, Dick Smith has online Pre-order for $69.97 (free delivery to Sydney CBD.. not sure about other locations)... Not sure what other shops are selling for though. _________________

^ nope, the digital version doesn't go live til the 28th for us (the digital release seems to be about the same time for all timezones, we get the retail version earlier than other countries). _________________

Wow.. ordered yesterday and it's already on a courier, in Sydney, this morning.. so should have it in my hands sometime today.. all without leaving my desk! And it's $69.97 instead of $89.95! Although I assume I won't get any special goodies that some stores like to give for pre-orders..
Still.. pretty impressive.. _________________

I think I might be the only gamer on the planet that isn't really excited for star craft. _________________

I'm not a huge RTS fan to be perfectly honest.. but I remember, over the years, thinking on more than one occasion "I should have tried Starcraft".. I did enjoy C&C: Tiberium Sun though not all of them.. also enjoyed Total Annialation and the Core Contingency expansion.. and also Supreme Commander.. but I'm not a fan.. hrmm.. maybe I am and I just don't know it _________________

It's a "trilogy" not a 1/3 of a game. The Wings of Liberty is like the first book in the trilogy. It's a full game, no question about it. Whether they later choose to release it as expansions/DLC, which is what I assume they will do, for half the normal price or release as standalone titles, which I highly doubt they will do, and charge full price.. rest assured, Wings of Liberty is a full title.. not a third..
I'd rather get 1 full size games and 2 half size (hoping they will be full-sized) expansions than to have them try to cram it all into one game.. _________________
