I really dug the second ep, more Eric and Lafayette is only ever a good thing. I also like the fact that Lafayette is just as messed up as everyone else but he actually deals with his **** rather than being frigging "knife to the wrist" melodramatic about it all.
Good to learn a bit more about the Vampire hierarchy as well, be interesting to see how that side of things pans out.

episode 3 is fantastic. The 2 central sex scenes in this episode were freaky, freaking hilarious and awesome at the same time. Tara rolling her eyes back into her head. LOLOLOL. And then the final scene... LOLOLOLololol
Despite the cast growing, the story is very focused and it doesn't feel like its stretching too thin.
Really bloody loving it. Its like they nailed the formulae. _________________

You know now that i think about it True Blood Story could be a very long one since there is a queen and king and sheriff for each state of the USA. How epic was episode 2 when there was talk of War between State and State. God i am loving this show.

i'd have thought that Godric being older than Christ, would've pointed to the story being quite long.
good episode, although Alcide wasn't really as i pictured him from the books.
I am looking forwards to seeing how other book elements resolve themselves in the series though. _________________

he did - (S2 spoilers)in pretty much the same fashion. he'd had enough, and decided to "welcome the sun".
but in the books, he wasn't Eric's sire. _________________

Yeah i kind of meant if there is a king/queen/sheriff for each state this story could go on for a while . Either way i am really enjoying it. _________________

I'm still behind. I only watched the second episode last night but I just had to say how surprised I was that the funniest thing to happen in the episode (and possibly even the series) came from Sookie. I L-O-L'ed something fierce.
I really don't think I need to elaborate. _________________

i liked Tara from early S1 - her and Lafayette used to bounce off eachother fantastically, but when she got all deep and introspective later in the season, up until now, she's been kinda bland as a character.
i really enjoyed the latest episode. it could be because i've read the books, and seeing several of the storylines unfolding is pretty awesome, i dunno. _________________

I thought the latest episode was really weak honestly. I didn't do enough to keep me all that interested. If this was a set-up episode, it'll probably hold up a lot better on repeated viewing but as a standalone, it was really dull. I also hope this werewolf plot will pay off because it's a whole lot of nothing atm.
Episode 5 looks like things will pick up considerably. _________________

That was fracking fantastic. 56 minutes of pure entertainment. Soooo good. I think its the best episode so far. Tara and her insane vampire = so funny.

Really?
I'm the opposite. I don't like Franklin, the only thing I think is amusing is that he is like the vampire version of Mr. Bean.
I felt sorry for Tara in this episode, she was shaking, she was so scared.
The faster they explore Sookie's hand light power, the better. I can see it getting in the way for me. Cause I'll think of her more as Rouge, touching people and hurting them. _________________
