If I remember correctly I read that BJ was sick for 2 weeks leading up to that fight, so 118 will show if that was correct.
Hopefully BJ returns to his Diego smashing form

You know its sad but i will be really nervous to watch that fight cause i really want BJ to win. God i hope he comes out to that music, that Hawaiian song haha. Back to 116 i really hope Brock just runs at him like he did to the other block and just tackle him and FUCKING BANG!

Lesnar is a machine. A MACHINE. He's unstoppable. I don't think Carwin stands a chance. Though my head says Lesnar by submission in the 3rd, my heart says Lesnar by TKO in the first. I can definitely see it happening. I might even put a bet on.
Boy am I gonna look stupid tomorrow if he loses. It certainly happened after 101, 114 and 115.

UFC 116:
YEAHHHHHHHHHHH LESNAR! FUCK! GODDAMN that man is awesome. My head was closer than my heart, predicting a submission win, didn't go as long as I thought it would though. Man that was phenomenal.
The event in general was awesome, just great fights. I'll update with better thoughts tomorrow when it's a bit less 5:22am.

UFC 117 is over and it was a pretty good show.
Without going into spoilers, there were a lot of good fights on the card and none of them disappointed. And the main event was absolutely awesome!
Did anybody else watch the event? What'd you think?

Didn't have much to say about 117. It was just great through and through. I wasn't really invested in any of the fights myself though so it kinda paled in comparison to 116 for me.
118, however, was impossible not to be invested in, whether a boxing or MMA fan.
Haha Toney got so totally fucked, love it. Not often you hear a "UFC" chant. I'd have preferred a TKO to properly bitch him out, but putting him to sleep is pretty great too. I can't believe after that fight Toney said his ground game is fine, just Couture's a great fighter. Only one of those things is true.
And Edgar was just on fire. I mean 13-1, beating BJ Penn twice, defending the belt... surely the new greatest in the weight-class. Rogan was right to be surprised at every turn, with Penn being thrown to the ground, having his face pummelled from his back, losing every submission he attempted... the only thing separating it from a totally amateur performance was that he managed to go five rounds without dropping. Speaking of that, Edgar's cardio was ridiculous, how a man can be that springy at the end of the 5th is beyond me. If he can now avenge his only loss in this next title defence, he's stepping on Lesnar's heels in terms of ultimate greatness.
Also wow @ the Lauzon fight, holy god. Ruediger was like a ragdoll in there. If that really was the grudge match I've heard people claim, what a way to end it. Very deserving submission of the night.
Pretty psyched for 119 now, I love Cro Cop. Right leg: hospital, left leg: cemetery. Dude's got pins of steel.

Mega bump.
Summary to date!
UFC 119: Great, shame to see Cro Cop lose, but it was an awesome fight iirc.
UFC 120: Not bad, glad the Brits got mostly slaughtered, the advertising here was a little to patriotic for my liking. Shame Akiyama didn't pull it off, I was certainly inflamed with some good old JP-UK rivalry. Wrong side won but oh well.
UFC 121: All spoiler: FFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU.
UFC 122: Didn't even watch it, never seen a worse card. Might have been good, who knows, no one I know watched it either.
Other promotions: Pretty solid as ever, the last Strikeforce was a little lacking (aside from the main), WEC continues to be fantastic.
And that brings us to tomorrow's UFC 123, one of the best cards this year. My predictions? Rampage gets his ass handed to him and has a moment of realisation that he can't just take time off like he did, it'll take a lot to recover. I give the rubber match to Hughes, just cause of Penn's record lately, he's not been fighting well at all. The rest could go either way. So looking forward to it. Thoughts?

I'm excited for the Joe Lauzon and George Sotiropolous fight. Joe's an amazing fighter and Aussie George is great too. Really excited about that one.
Machida/Rampage should be good but I'm hoping Machida just lays him out. Penn/Hughes should be interesting. If BJ has a six pack then you know he's been taking training for the fight seriously. If not, then you know he hasn't and could very well lose - just something my brother noticed over his last few fights. He didn't look in shape for Frankie Edgar both times but his other wins, he was looking to be in great shape.

Nope. I think Bisping is an awesome fighter - good striking and he never gives up. He gets a bad rap because he likes to play the heel even though he shows a lot of respect for all of his opponents before (in between all the smack talk) and after the fight.
