Just arrived. Sealed and new. Goody. The resolution is a bit offputting after say using an iPhone though.

Once you start playing the 'real' games on PSP though you'll rarely go back to the games on iPhone

Apparently the sale was going "too well", so they're putting prices back up now. Still things on sale but not as cheap, and I think some things are coming off sale completely.

i reckon the words "game sale" have ruined all expectation to prices.
it can be $100 bucks down to $40, and i know my brain will be going, oh, it isnt $12....
i would love to be suprised, but i reckon that the best of the sale is behind us now.

Noticed a few things at EB:
Blazblue (PS3 and 360) is on sale at $37, in store and online.
I can't find a list online, but in store they have posters everywhere of the trade in values on consoles towards the new 360. They have different prices depending on which version of each console, eg. the DSi is a $160 trade in, not too bad.
They're also giving away Red Dead Redemption with any trade-in of a console towards it. I'm tempted to do that, if only to get it cheaper, get rid of a console I don't use (i have a DSiXL anyway) and get a game I've been meaning to get...

Regular. It's quite amazing how much clearer and brighter the iPhone is over the PSP.

Anyone hit the sales this morning? I hit up Kmart, Mario Galaxy 2 $69 with DVD, pretty kewl. Did not notice much else, Boy and his Blob for $30au, not many 360/PS3 bargains and a few DS ones.
SOme awesome LEGO and NERF toys for sale though, kinda grabbed Mario and strutted out all proud like.

He is referring to my post just above his, charly and in relation to that, how could they possibly offer a download of RDR if it isn't available online over xbox live? If somehow it is, I think that may turn me off the deal. Seems really stupid to me.

A small GAME update.
Went in this morning and it seems most games have been put up slightly in price now (not all, but some, esp brand new titles) and when I asked about the catalogue prices, the Manager said that it was just a rough guide and not definate prices. Kinda sucks, but there are still some cheap prices there. I didn't stay long as they where busy with there 360 slim pre orders (and I didn't wanna listen to the other worker "fanboy" on about the MW2 360 console someone traded in, saying how much he loved it and saying oh you creamed allover it, whats that white stuff etc.), but I'll try and pop in again tomorrow to see whats happening with the sale.
Anyway, here are a few prices I noticed
Uncharted 2 is $38
Heavy Rain is $48
Borderlands (PS3) - $39
Warioland Shake Dimension - $12 P/0
So, I have no idea if Uncharted 2 and Heavy Rain will be any cheaper, it does seem though that most games have been put up from $28 to around $38, so its possible Uncharted 2 won't be any cheaper than $38, but I'm not sure.
Probably best to contact your local store first.

Okay, here's confirmation of the EB trade in for the 360s:
* you can use your edge card for extra credit on a console trade in (my dsi came to $185)
* RDR is a physical copy, not a download!
* the girl at the counter suggested I could return with my receipt and my old 360 for a refund on my purchase once I complete the data transfer. EDIT: That's for the trade-in price of that console, not the whole thing, obviously
