Apparently the Sony is extremely slow....and the pioneer isn't that quick either.
But with that price tag I guess short comings are bound to be present. Not that you asked about it, I just thought I would point it out. _________________

Wow Blu-ray players are cheap(ish) now.
I'm thinking of buying a Blu-ray drive for my PC for when I hook it up to my 1080p telly. Are there still issues with the whole copy protection thing when trying to watch Blu-Rays thru a PC? _________________ My Photos

All depends on if you have HDCP tv, video card etc. I would imagine most TVs sold the last year or more should be HDCP compatible and likewise with the videocards, if all else fails, programs on the net can remove the HDCP issue.
