That's what I got from those comparison screens. Still, Sly Cooper is a series I never got into, despite initially being interested, I guess I might pick this up (but of all the possible collections this is one I didn't really want, next they'll be announcing a Jak & Daxter or Ratchet & Clank Collection).

This is one the less popular/known PS2 series, so it really makes me wonder if they are making Sly Cooper 4 and to get everyone ready for it, they are releasing this package.
Just makes me curious as to why they are re releasing one of the less popular franchises over Jak & Daxter, Final Fantasy or ICO/SOTC.

If I remember correctly, there were rumours floating around that they were going to release a Team Ico collection. Seems we've been jipped, at least for now.

Yuh, I know. I was hoping it would be announced at E3, but instead it seems they are focusing on this collection instead.

They probably picked Sly because it already had 3D elements and Sony are really pushing that at the moment. It may also be to get more attention on Sucker Punch and therefore infamous 2.

I'd say TGS may be a time where they'll announced a Team ICO remastering as right now it seems more focused on western games/sucker punch. Still, bitterly disappointed that Team ICO wasn't even present. Heart breaking even.
I like this collection though. I will buy it because I never got around to getting Sly on the PS2.

Yeah I'm all for the release of three older games for one price with remastered graphics. It's great for fans and people who never got around to playing them. I hope this is a trend that continues.
It beats paying $20-odd for the original version of each game on PSN or something.

Love collections, great way to catch up on missed classics and to re-collect classics instead of forking out $200 for a game on Ebay.

I was expecting a whole segment of the conference to focus on the Sly/Team ICO/other juicy goodness Collections, but I guess they must have dropped it so they could fit in more interminable musical montage videos. Kaz Hirai name dropped the Sly Collection in the middle of a bunch of other games with 3D support, without any introduction or information. I am so bitter that The Last Guardian wasn't even mentioned. SO BITTER.

Never played any of the originals as I was never convinced they were very good games... although having them in a collection like this may make it slightly more interesting I'll see how the reviews go...

I reckon I will buy this.I really liked the demo of the 1st one and rented the full game.Sly 2 I never played and 3 I own but have never finihsed it.
