assuming we even get it over here.
the amount of control on the sword kinda has be worried.
then again, since it's also on PS3, not much to worry about.

yea i was a bit worried about the gore factor i guess there wont be any online but if so i hope no region locking plays a part - it will be a sad day if i have to import MGS.

Afro Samurai had the same mechanic and made it over. In fact, Afro Samurai is REALLY similar. Though I'm thinking that Kojima's team will be much more thorough.

Gotta say, this would be cool with motionplus-esque controls for swordplay, for that extra bit of control, though Raiden would probably end up looking like a right twat with the sword instead of a cyborg-ninja.

as a Metal Gear Solid fan here, Likes that they haven't really changed him Raiden much, hopes we can play as really old snake, Likes we can finally use Raiden sword, Gore epic win, Slicing the way though anything looks good too. What confuses me is that wasn't Raiden a guns specialist in MGS2 :S knowing of course that he used his sword in MGS4.

I'm more a fan of the Tactical Espionage Action of the Metal Gear series, rather than the Hack 'n' Slash, but this looks more interesting than I was expecting.
