5000 posts is quite a lot. I had a quick look at the people over 5k and there isn't one person not worth there. Would be spammers usually (pokemon style) evolve into great posters or leave/banned anyway.
If you don't like it, they are looking for staff right now! Instant colourification!

5k is a lot - if you post 5 times a day, it's going to take nearly 3 years to get there. To see who's achieved it, take a look at the member list and filter by Total posts, Descending. There's only 21 and half of those are staff members and mods.
I considered adding post score into consideration, but after looking at that list, I decided it was unnecessary. Let's face it, if someone sticks around for 5k posts, they've earned that position

Thanks Jeremy. Yeah, I remember writing reviews for GameCube -games - Resident Evil: REmake used to be the 'new hot thing' back then. It really is a long time ago.
I think I was among the first 20 to register, too. It is quite wonderful to see this community thriving after all these years, you know.

I actually knew James ( Zemaj ) before he started PALgn - we had some conversations about this site on the IGN forums way back then.
The forums were quite different at first, too. Then we got Spoons, had the Amy-fiasco ( or was it? ), and what not. Those were the times.
