I'd say it's a very sick horse, but not a dead one since Square-Enix now own the IP. You never know exactly what to expect from them, they might just turn the series around, but we'll see. They've dropped the Tomb Raider part from the name, it seems they're trying to go in a different direction. The developer hasn't changed though... _________________

Well this looks like a new direction! I welcome it because the last one was awful...
But I think Anniversary was the best one. I think they should just take a leaf from the design of that; there's no need to change everything! _________________

Underworld? I've only just started playing it (just got up to Thailand) and it doesn't seem to bad.
I find that this is only available for digital download on PSN/XBLA/PC and contains a co-op mode strange. A very new direction for the series from the sounds of it. _________________

I thought Underworld was a half decent game, the combat was god awefull as usuall but the dungeons where quite good. They dropped the tomb raider title for the digital download title/s but the full release games will still be titled tomb raider. _________________

The camera angle and view point is too far away. _________________

Well grim-one, I thought underworld had really terrible controls (I tried using the keyboard and my gamepad and it was still as bad) and the camera always went into the worst possible position. But the controls on Anniversary felt much tighter to me and the camera didn't get in the way as much, and I liked the inventory system and the levels were a lot bigger and more interesting. I loved that game. It's the only Tomb Raider game I really like. It really felt like Underworld was a step back in every way... _________________

whats with the big red circle under lara? it seems to play like a diablo clone with very light jumping controls.

you're all really negative. Underworld was excellent IMO, camera and controls seemed a little dodgy, but everything that matters was probably the best its ever been; the puzzles were great, the graphics and environmental atmosphere was jaw-dropping, the scale was huge, the story was oh so epic. This is very different but it's a cheap, downoadable title, and it looks fun.

Everything matters in a game aronmayo, all the little pieces fit together to make the finished game, so I think even little things can add up and amount to bigger things. Anyway I would say bad camera and controls directly effect the game play which makes them a big problem, and I found them not just a little dodgy but really terrible. But it's all opinions though (: _________________

Fair point. My first hour with the game kept me saying "Wow this doesn't feel anywhere near as good as Uncharted 2". There's definitely something off with the controls (too "loose"?) but I've gotten used to it by now.
The camera did annoy me a couple of times too, especially underwater. _________________
