I saw a headline somewhere saying "Is Christina the new Lady Gaga?" and I thought ... but Christina was first ... but now hearing you both say that makes sense to me. Christina had her day and she's now trying to break back in again, so she decided to mimic the "in" thing, correct? Ugh ...
Oh, and I'm posting here because I finally reached 1,000 posts! Yahoo.
This is a great place to be, and I have come to realise that not all of you are scary and hopefully you will see me post more often from now on, whether you like it or not!
Also, there's been some really nice people here that I won't single out, because you know who you are and I appreciate everything you've done for me.
I think I've posted here more in the last few weeks than I ever have, and I think those plus things were to blame, because whenever someone said something I agreed with, I merely put a plus to their name and didn't respond.
So, cheers everyone. What an accomplishment that was ... only ... what ... 4,000 more to go if I want a coloured name? Sheesh ...
Edit: Okay, there's a couple of scary people around still. (Just didn't want to offend the scary ones who don't appreciate being called anything other than scary.)
Edit 2: Just clarifying. Not saying Lady Gaga is "ugh" ... Christina needs to go back to pasture.

I finished my first journalism assignment of this semester.
We were all given random topics, and yours truly was got 'Spices'. Yup, I had to get 2,000 words out of something I have absolutely no interest in. How did I do it you ask? I spun the title upside down and inside out.
Who would have thought that Spice is a legal drug causing havoc in Europe and in particular, Ireland! I managed to write about my hometown, recession, the financial crisis and drug use. At this point in time, I think I'm quite happy with myself. I just hope the lecturer is ready for a surprise article.

what else made me smile, well the massive banhammer that has been applied by M$ to people who glitched fifa10 ultimate teams so they could get free booster packs........seems to have cleared out a lot of the knobs on there, and the huge amounts of grovelling in the xbox forum about it also makes me smile. Eat it cunts.

I was doing my usual volunteer work at the second hand shop when a bunch of PS1 games came in which sadly all but 6 of something like 100 were burnt copies which the store obviously can't sell.But one game I absolutely couldn't believe was one of the proper copies was, it was Suikoden.I hired that game many years ago and absolutely LOVED it but I was never able to find a copy for ex rental during the time PS2 was the dominant console and video stores were selling all their PS1 games.I never ever saw the game again and on ebay it was selling for very high prices somwhere along the lines of AU$165 iirc.This has been my most sort (sp?) after game ever and there it was, with the cover (sadly with 2 large cracks in the cover) and the instruction manual with a very good condition disc.You wouldn't believe how freaking excited I was to see that game.
There was also a non platinum version of FFVIII which I bought even though I have the platinum version.There was also Street Fighter Alpha Warrior's Dreams and Street Fighter Alpha 2.Now some of you should know that I have played a few SF's but have never been a fan but I really do want to like them so for $2 I thought I may as well buy them.Even if I don't like them I will still keep them as I collect games.

Just got the second Mag ive ever worked on back from the printers... Really happy to report it looks perfect; this one was really important as my boss was out the office and it was up to me to fix some spreads and create some last minute graphics... Not to mention everything i contributed looks a lot tighter and neater. Not that anyone would really notice how; but it tends to be a subconscious satisfaction.
Its great to be able to see your hard work as a printed object that you can pick up and look at. Its also great to finally be on top of all my job as a whole... I now have time to start working on other bits and pieces here and there.
Still sick as a dog; but feeling on the upper.

One of the techs at my work job note reads "Ports were no working, reset system, card still not working. Removed 8SLA card to find it had been damaged by gecko dying all over it".

Just found out that Grizzly bear are back in Mellbourne this July, and promptly went to buy some tickets. They're playing at the Palais, and I got decent tickets in the Lounge section upstairs. Not cheap, but fuck it they're worth it.
Also, the captcha text was 'come madame'... hehehehe.
