So I know there's been a substantial amount of issues with Ipod headphones, particularly the right earbud just dropping out, even weeks after purchase.
That isn't the issue with mine, but I thought I'd start a thread to see if anyone had any similar issues/solutions.
My problem is, last night the left earbud just dropped out, and will now not work at all in my Ipod Touch. I tested the earphones (these are standard Apple issue by the way) in my computer, and they both worked, however the right one was louder than the left. I then tested them in my DS, where they both worked fine.
I tested a borrowed pair of earphones in my Ipod, and they worked fine. So I'm currently kinda befuddled as to what could possibly be wrong. Any answers would be much appreciated. _________________

Usually a broken wire that touches sometimes or is only just making a connection, then you move it and it makes a better connection, this type of thing has happened to me.
Once though i did have an mp3 player that started sending mono to both left and right, but on other headphones it was only playing on the right.....
maybe try twitching the lead near the base and see if it changes _________________ kill, kill, kill.....the white man. Kill the white man, kill

and if this is the problem, then throw them away and get some new variety, because it will shit you to tears. _________________ I'd be apathetic, but I can't be arsed.

Here's an idea get some decent over-ear closed headphones, that way not only will they sound awesome (and actually work) but you also won't be pissing off everyone else on the tram/train/bus/whatever with your music that's louder around you than it is for you.

Yeah, CX300s are great action as an iPod replacement headphones. Picked some up last year, and just fantastic quality in ear without having to go the extra distance with Shures (something freaks me out about $400 in ear headphones for the iPod).
When I want to get serious though, there's little better than HD-25s for some indulgence. _________________

Logitech Metro.Fi's get a big thumbs up from me.
I got the 220's a couple of weeks back for $28 from logitechshop.com.au, they're usually $98, and they sound superb.
PReviously I was using the Metro.Fi 150s, which retail about $60-70. The noise isolation is awesome. _________________
