I cannot for the life of me work out how to set up the controllers for this! There's no sync button and trying to turn them on seemingly does nothing, presumably because they're not synced with the Xbox. Anyone got any idea?

you just need to plug in the infared reciever, plug it into the usb port and it will automatically sync, the intrsuction manuel should tell you which controls are 1st player and so on. Hope that helps. By the way, onece you plug in the reciever all 4 of the controls will be on.

... good GOD.

Y'know, it would have been simpler, co-ordinated better with Xbox's features and GOD KNOWS everything else if they'd just made the damn things work like Xbox controllers. But no.

So am I to assume that to let everyone use their Xbox avatars, you need to have four actual xbox controllers for people to sign in with?

Not necesarrily, aslong as you use the individual big buzz control to sign in their individual accounts it will work. theres an xbox button on the bottom, and sign in as normal. Ya true, it took me 1 hr just to figure it out.

I was a little confused when the original game (Lights, Camera, Action) came out. Single player was ok, but using the buzzer(s) to setup the 2nd, 3rd, 4th player etc, was confusing.

The way I had to do it was as follows -

1) SIGN OUT OF ALL PROFILES!!!

2) Plug in IR receiver

3) Sign in accounts one by one, by pushing the guide button on each big button controller.

4) Enjoy!!

Had a few issues at first as well, but now it feels like second nature to me.

I worked out a way myself. I remembered I do have that many controllers -- but some of them are guitars. Since I only need them to log in with, and then can be put aside, it works.

I can skip step 3 because there is an option later on to sign people in simultaneously.

My steps would be:

1) don't use any other controllers
2) connect infrared receiver to USB
3) turn on xbox
4) put in disc and start game
5) use the scene it remote to get to the bit where they are sitting in couches
6) then use the scene it sign in if you want to sign in 4 people at the same time. (there will be a 4 box split screen mode where you can select xbox profiles)
7) everyone clicks continue to start the game
8) listen to cheesy voice over man and answer the questions when needed icon_lol.gif

You don't need any other controllers besides the buzzers themselves. Each buzzer has a Live button at the bottom, you press that and log in as you would otherwise - the big buzzer button at the top also serves as a D-pad if you need to navigate Xbox menus.

Oh lulz, I'm credited on the game and I didn't realise that. But in my defence, I worked on engine at the time and the hardware was finalised before we got the game to work on.
