I hope this doesn't focus on Alice & her psychic abilities. I'm lead to believe this after watching the 3rd one.... _________________ <iframe src="http://gamercard.xbox.com/Ministry%20Se7en.card" scrolling="no" frameBorder="0" height="140" width="204">Put your gamertag here too.</iframe>

Looks interesting. While the movies are not perfect, they do provide some entertainment.
I hate how they got rid of Jill without any explanation though...

So we have reflective sunglasses now, that will do oh so well against the hordes of undead and mutagenic creatures seeking to disembowel you because at least you'll look trendy doing it!
And I suppose a good enough reason for man to the first is for boobie, so reason enough should be for the rather large "choppy axe man" for this one, just as the second one was good enough for Nemesis & Jill and the weather girl in the school.
I still struggle to find a reason to see the 3rd though, since between pissing off Jill, sheer stupidifying the survivor instinct with romantic subtexts and satellite robotics it was completely mystifying that crows got infected by no manner of insect did, like say any of the carnivorous ants in the world to spread it to the billions upon billions of their lot scurrying about, let alone mosquitoes. But hey, it had kukri so it must be badass right?

Ah, another Resident Evil movie. They've all been terrible, yet entertaining. They could probably get rid of the story completely and just show the mutilation/action scenes and the movie would be no worse off.

trailer looked absolutely incredible in the cheesiest best way.
love how they pimped the cameron camera thing.
Loved the urboros mouth monster thing. Its like the japanese guys did all the design for them - I wonder if Capcom Japan gets a cut of the money? Screengems/Sony(!) are the producers.
and I think milla jovovich is one of the main reasons why this movie has had 4 high budget releases. She makes the franchise work.
Looks awesome!!!!!! Day 1 _________________

Found the movies surprisingly entertaining. I'll still wait for Blu-Ray before watching. _________________

I saw the advance screening of this tonight, in 3D.
Wasn't bad, 1 or 2 cheesy parts. Like in the games.
"It's a trap." *walks in and the big door locks behind them*
Also, wait around as the credits roll. There is abit extra.
| Spoilers wrote: | If you're wondering who that was at the end, that's Jill Valentine. Clearly brainwashed by the chest thing.
She looks different having long blonde hair instead of short brunette, still the same actress though (Sienna Guillory). |

Also saw the advanced screening, coming in as a fan of the Resident Evil game franchise, and also a fan of the movies (I've resigned to the fact that the only thing that connects the movies is the game "assets" as that is all they are). If it wasn't called RE, I'm sure a lot more people will have liked them.
I must say, as a movie, it's pretty bad in comparison to the predecessors, but as a technical achievement, some of the set pieces were pretty cool. The reviews so far are pretty spot on with the fact that this film was made for 3D first, and then everything came in second.
I did enjoy the references to Resident Evil 5, but I think they could have had a better Wesker. He just didn't have that... charm as an evil mofo.
I won't spoil too much due to the simplicity of the film's nature, but I will say this.
Ali Larter is hot. That is all. _________________ Playing: Fallout: New Vegas

Went to the advanced screening on Wednesday night.
It was average to be honest. I wouldnt say its the worse in the series, but it certainly could have been presented a lot better. The slow motion was overused...it was used great in some spots but in some scenes it was not needed.
Its still worth a watch though, its makes an "ok" action movie.
Oh and there is an interesting scene a couple of minutes into the credits
